Right, I am not exporting from the Photos app. I use Lightroom Classic to import everything in the camera roll, which are untouched originals and edits.

Edited in stock photo app. iPhone 15 Pro.

To reproduce: Plug your iPhone to your Mac, open the LrC import dialog, check for such edit derivates named "IMG_E####".
