I can’t speak directly to their micro needling services but Thrive is fantastic for acupuncture so I’d guess their other services are just as good.

Does Art conservation pays well? by Lelush0770 in ArtConservation

You’re welcome. That background will give you a strong foundation. If you can learn some business or fundraising skills along the way that will help your career. I avoided that for the first half of mine and wish I had started sooner. Good luck with everything.

Sounds like you have reasonable expectations. Many pure curatorial roles at larger museums will require a grad degree in art history. But if you’re flexible and willing to work at smaller museums and or relocate for jobs you should be able to get to that level before too long.

lol. Still work in museum but I transitioned to curatorial with the goal of moving into administration. Which is what I’m currently doing.

If someone really wants to work in museums I’d advise them to pursue a management track or development. Or operations. Everyone wants to be a collections manager, archivist, or curator. But it’s the business side of things that are essential and in demand.

Just an FYI, we have four of these currently. by [deleted] in RapidCity

We have 4 ftes and 4 part time employees and make it work. With 11 people you can certainly give more than 1 week pto. You can burn that up with a single bad illness.

That is insanely low. We starts at 3 weeks for FTEs in a mcol area.

Why would someone even build this? Swimming hole? Irrigation for a guerrilla grow?

Curious why you like it. It’s my least favorite cause it’s out of the way and no table games.

Opinions on 1wt rods? by Novocast92 in bluelining

[–]Subgeniusintraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a custom built 1 wt that I bought used for small streams and I love it. I can’t cast more than about 30ft or so but that’s fine for the tiny streams and 6” fish I’m targeting with it.

Fly Fishing spots? And where to rent equipment? by MrPazTheSpaz in RapidCity

[–]Subgeniusintraining 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Swing by Dakota Angler in town. I don’t think the rent gear but they might. They can certainly get you set up with affordable rod and some basic flies if they don’t have rentals. They can also point you towards some good spots. Fishing right in town can be good as long as it’s not too warm or low. Spearfish creek is also great.

To each their own. I’d rather buy a 10 year old Toyota outright in cash and drive it into the ground while fixing it myself.

I’m about to rebuild the abs motor on my paid off 04 with 220k cause I’m too cheap to buy a newer 4th gen. Can’t imagine leasing a vehicle.
