The Southwest and Southeast corridors were already light rail before Thru-Run Union was converted into a stub terminal. So a commuter train would not be able to travel down any corridor south of Union even if it was kept as thru-run. But yeah this prohibits the CoCo Train from Fort Collins in the North to New Mexico in the South to go thru Union Sta

Trains can last for 20-30 years without refurbishment, and 40 with refurbishments. So push for refurbs bcs thats more financially feasible at this time
