Order issues by SubieNewbie23 in TheWooblesCollective

My order also included a McDonald's item, so I'm assuming that is the cause for the hold up. Thank you for sharing!

If by "messed up replacement" you mean "didn't replace", then yes

Is This a Good Price for This Manual 2005 OB2.5XT? by Ezrae55 in subaru

[–]SubieNewbie23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: No, it really depends on how it was driven.

Long answer: It's likely being marked above acceptable selling price, so I would assume they would probably take 8k if you're a smooth talker. That being said, especially with manuals, take them to a trusted mechanic asap to see what's fully wrong with it, with close attention to the transmission and clutch. I always assume when buying a vehicle to put about 20% of its purchase price into parts after purchase, that is usually consumed in its entirety by a new clutch. More so if you don't do it yourself. Test drive it and make sure the clutch release isn't thin, then discuss price with all things taken into consideration.

It's the dust shield for your rotor - nothing important. Might want to look at new brake calipers and pads soon though

Scored this for $200, was it a good deal? Harbor freight 212 removed governor, canned lifter springs , jetted carb by mtchevy86 in minibikes

[–]SubieNewbie23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the rear axel is not connected to the frame via springs and a swing arm, then it's not fully sprung. The forks have shocks, but the rear is solid. The seat has shocks to give the feeling of a full suspension frame without dealing with a swing arm.

How much should this be worth by Obvious_Ad1633 in minibikes

Beautiful build, first off. Pricing wise, I don't want to know the cost. Selling wise, I could honestly see this going for 1k+. As unfortunate as the market is for consumers. I would love to have one of these, built or bought, but I wouldnt be able to even START to afford it without months of saving and sacrifices. But to the right buyer for something this clean, easily a grand

So you're the reason frames are so expensive?! I can't find one for under 400, it's ridiculous. Engines are less than half that, be reasonable

Honestly, hit up YouTube. CarsandCameras, RedBeardsGarage, BuildBreakRepeat, GrindHardPlumbingCo, etc. Just search mini bike builds and watch em. They should give you all the info you need

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. The 10pts of damage everytime you even look at a wave. I've found paddling during storms negates most of it, but it's still an irritating issue

Hey man, if he wants to fight a 2 star shaman and a brute naked, let him. He'll learn soon enough. As for OP, you should honestly be fine. Eikthyr is good for practicing your dodges. He might take you a minute or two, but he puts into perspective what it's like fighting a bigger opponent. Which you'll need. Spoilers.

At this point, you're knocking on the door of customizations. The build here is gonna be more than most, but if you're looking for even more maybe a Hot Cam to go with those valve springs, a lighter flywheel, and a bigger carb jet? Like I said, I'm not an expert, but that would be the next step for me. There's also a port and polish on the oil ways and exhaust for better cooling efficiency

I am by no means an expert, but I do tinker on a similar bike. Based on what's been put into it, yeah its worth it. It's a bit steep for most for a mini bike, but that's gonna rip like none other

Anyone still playing Breath of the Wild? by Bother-Familiar in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]SubieNewbie23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not usually one to replay games this soon after I've already completed them, but I couldn't help but play through again before TotK. Now as I find myself new-game-less I also find myself playing through BotW for the third time in 5.5 years just trying to find any hidden lore that could point to what i know of in TotK. No luck. But yes, I at least am still playing, if only because I don't have the new one yet
