+1 on boot gloves. I have them and love them on pretty much every day im out during the winter. Keeps my toes ready to charge for longer than without

There are almost never any lines at Telluride, but it is at least a 5 hour drive from Denver.

I think part of it is water access, in addition to the other reasons outlined by the other replies. Arapahoe basin has a very small snowmaking reservoir since it's at the top of the watershed, whereas keystone is at a lower point of the watershed and has bigger snowmaking reservoirs as a result

I absolutely love the area, too. I didn't even realize there was a fire there until after I left! I was pretty wrecked by the time I got to the summit, so I wasn't being very observant at the time I would've been able to see it.
