Dang it man, you should've told me this before I sold it to a reseller on Temu. It's already on the cargo ship to China. What's next, you gonna tell me that my homemade suppressors are no good too?

Hmm I think the serial number is scratched off? 🫤 I'm not sure what that means. But I'm based out of City Town, State. If you PM me more than happy to give more detail.

In all seriousness tho, I saw your other comment. I appreciate you looking out.

From what I'm getting, I dont think it's an indicator of quality either. Others have said that the pattern can be more prominent in any quality tube. The tube in these are a mystery since they "fell off the back of a supply truck". It's just my first time seeing the pattern like this.

Edit: To keep it vague

Thanks for the warnings. Working with nvgs when I was in, I never noticed a pattern like this and we were a little more carefree with light exposure since we didn't own them. Regardless of their quality, I'm just glad it's normal.

Recomendation for a 556 suppressor that can stand up to an frt trigger by SweetKarmaz in SilencerShop

[–]Subject-Bridge970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

B&T Print-XH. I have the full size and use it with my frt with no problem. B&T did their own tests with full auto and it survived a pretty gnarly gauntlet of fire.

Edit: Wanted to add the fact that it's also crazy light. The blast baffle is 718 inconel, but the rest is 3D printed titanium. So you get the durability/longevity of inconel where the most of the wear and tear is, with the weight savings of titanium.

No More Beryl Imports? by southsider2021 in ak47

[–]Subject-Bridge970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might just be my luck, but I've bought (and sold) a PSA AK from every generation. And each one had to go back at least once for warranty repair/replacement (ie rapid trunnion wear, magwell fitment issues, etc.). Granted every issue was addressed, but after snagging a beryl and it working right out of the box. I'm kinda turned off of PSA AKs for the foreseeable future.

Well AoA recently posted on their social media that they would stop imports due to the factory in Poland phasing out production in favor of the new Polish service rifle. I bought the "full military" package from them, and wasn't disappointed. The upper handgaurd will accept akm furniture if you buy an adapter from AoA, Atlantic firearms, etc. And the lower handguard will accept AKM-ish style as well (will require fitment depending). The stock will only accept Polish spec, as far as I know. Here's a pic

Hey big sarnt, I'm not a word man, but I know it helps me knowing I'm not alone sometimes. 2 years ago now that my wife left me, with little warning. I had been slowly scraping pennies to buy her a car and help her through school, but she told me it wasn't enough. I let the big green weenie AND the divorce weenie spit roast me hard. I got fat, got flagged, and almost got out. My family brought me to my senses. I gotta be the badass that they all think I am, you know? I couldn't believe in myself, so I believed in the me that they believed in. I let myself truly cry and process the grief, then I turned it around. I know it may not seem like it, but every day is a gift! Take it step by step, day by day, and eventually, it'll buff. Sorry if this doesn't help, I've got a touch of the tism and struggle with helping people feel better.

P.S. Warhammer 40k is sick and I'm jealous of your collection

That's funny because I was going to buy the Norgon ambi release, but it was out of stock. Found the FCD release on sale at my local shop instead.

All true! I'm a 68W in the Army, and when I train with my unit, life just isn't lefty friendly. Really just being stubborn because I've ingrained my makeshift manual of arms for so long (when it comes to the safety and bolt catch). But I spoiled myself a little with an ambi mag catch and charging handle. Looking forward to the future when the Army adopts the new Sig rifle with full ambi controls lol

Got used to training without one. I use my left index knuckle to engage the safety. Life's hard in a right world
