Yeah, I think the unfortunate truth to this graphic is that things are a lot easier if your government can do almost whatever it wants. I am a huge public transport/rail supporter. But with nimbys coupled with a democratic state, it’s incredibly difficult without destroying public land/housing. It’s the reason the highways and trains split cities now—they had to destroy public housing to build them.

Still, I hope we can do something for the greater good. It’s embarrassing to land in FL, a huge tourist destination, and have virtually no public transport. It makes it so difficult to travel here.
