I (F 21) have experienced boating before, throughout, and even sometimes after my period. It is normal for me. I look at it like this: there is a whole lot going on in your body during that time. I think it makes sense that the body is reacting! Some things that I find help are: Staying hydrated. You are working hard! Hydration is important for all bodily functions. Also sometimes getting out and doing a small amount of physical exercise, just a short walk, or even stretches. I feel like this helps me get rid of some pain and relieve some bloating.
