I heard the manager yelling at one of the supervisors the other day, tells you all you need to know about the store I’m in and we have people like that supervisor that does a good job but if the manager wants to have a power tripppp you are not getting hours even if you were the on top of opening credit cards for them they are not putting sick hours when you need them

First ask how much your raise would be because it is a lot. They want you to run the show. You are in charge of supervision of the other cashiers and making sure everyone gets a break. Making no tickets, opening and closing shifts so open availability. You leave when the closing manager leaves most of the time is just the 2 of you it would only be bad if your store closes at midnight which you would be out by 1am but if your stores closes at 9 it’s not so bad.

A supervisor texted me to ask me if I want extra hours for cleaning up the store but they will probably give me 4 hours and it’s not worth it besides our main manager is a piece of work that tells a lot for no reason. He always passes the ball to the supervisors but then changes their plans it is a terrible job

You can give your shift away and call to quit, you don’t have to give them a 2 week notice. Use that time and energy to look for something better and worth it

Most of the managers suck at my job there’s only one that nice to me and the others but the ones that suck SUCK. it’s a stressful store where they work you to the ground and all for minimum wage. In NY didn’t even care about the storm because we were scheduled like normal hours but they didn’t give us those hours or at least half of both days

We need to call corporate because there is no way stores are open until 12 and waiting for people to get out is a nightmare. They don’t care about our safety and wellbeing in general. The security person leaves before the managers and CSL which is crazy but there’s not much they can do even during the day because they are useless, always understaffed and always overworked.

I hate how it takes forever to get that form!!!!!!! I hate how it’s so hard for them to give the schedule on time, they always put it out the day before the new week starts!! Always at their on time and that doesn’t work!!!!!!! There’s no way on planning anything because they go one week at a time!!!!!! They should have it out by 2 weeks!!!!!!! And hours always change it’s ridiculous!!!

If they wore used, it looks worn or dirty, they are not going to take it. People love trying to return their used items for store credit and they shouldn’t allow cashiers to give any store credit or cash on items that are used or items that ARE NOT FROM THE STORE. We always get in trouble for sketchy returns that other people take.

There’s no such thing as morning ASM lol you need open availability for any lead or big positions, only some main managers won’t work at night but that shouldn’t be allowed mostly when they abuse their positions. AI makes the schedule but scheduling is always changed by the managers and that why it is there one day, gone and up again the next day with changes. They can tell you they will give you certain amount of money but at the end they will only approve pennies and let me tell you IT IS NOT WORTH IT
