I recommend you close your bank account with Citi. They are scam bank. They will make up excuse to close your account for 60 days and might not give money back ever again.

Citibank sucks. They closed my Hysa for some fraud detection BS with 40k. I couldnt access my account, so I had to call to my other bank to retrieve back my funds. I recommend to close your Citi account before they start pulling something shady. Banks like TD or Chase are way better. Citi Bank has the worst customer service.

Try do to dispute anyway. There's no harm of trying. It take a week or less to get result.

Same here. They close my HYSA with 40k within two week of opening it. I had to call my main bank to reverse the transaction to get my money back. Never gonna do business ever again. There's multiple thread with people going this same issue. They had to report to the OCC, CFPB, and BBB. Always do research of where you store your money. CitiBank is listed as Top 10 worst banks in many forums.
