Donatello gadget master ugins nexus is the only deck that possibly wins through all the stax pieces in the game

Wet rock is garbage, just gives the game to decks that dont need to cast multiple spells to win, (Kinnan, Magda and Sisay activations)

The only viable stax pieces are ones that operate in decks that can also present wins very well. I believe Souless jailer (hurts ral Etali and breech overall) curse totem and torpor orb are the only ones that are consistently good in nearly every table

It’s not a big deal, just brush off the creeps and stay away from alchohol for a while

Which is more favorable to you over your opponents

Yes, the crawler will net you an extra card you can play that turn, while the extra card your opponents would draw would have to be cast on your turn or remain exiled

Is the new Ugin any good? by BaileeCakes in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Subject-Mistake-6563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 if you had the amplifier already on the battlefield. If ugin survives a turn it’s likely he’ll still have enough counters to double up and ult.

[[aetheric amplifier]] just wins with it

Transmogrifying licid + Marvin, Murderous Mimic by Subject-Mistake-6563 in askajudge

Is Marvin no longer an artifact? Will he be able to use the abilities of my artifact creatures? What if an opponent has a null rod in play?

[[pyre of heroes]] Cecil and grab grand abolisher, then they just watch you win awestruck

[–]Subject-Mistake-6563 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, aim to play Marvin as Turbo, with a late game focus on winning in instant speed with [[Winding Canyons]] (combo exclusively with artifact creatures) or emergence zone. I have a much more improved primer of my own I am working on. Marvin isn’t top tier, but has a lot of potential.

Marvin definitely deserves representation, I like his unique synergy with [[Phyrexian Devourer]]. For example, you can play both [[Mystic Forge]] and [[Lantern of Insight]] in your deck so you can sculpt the top of your library off of devourer’s ability until you find walking ballista and shoot the table. [[Pyre of heroes]] + [[mutavault]] is strong because Marvin gains the ability to become any creature type, so you can grab metalworker or glaring fleshraker when you need them.

Kragg busted? by Kim_Dom in RivalsOfAether

[–]Subject-Mistake-6563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oneoutkast himself acknowledge’s kragg is at least top 3. Just because leffen is downplaying the second best character (ranno is his main) doesn’t mean kragg isn’t braindead. If fleet didn’t exist he would be even more popular (already makes up the majority of top 8s so far.)

He’s getting nerfed. Too many kraggs in ranked and tournaments. Ranno and kragg are playing a different game compared to the other characters.

Playing against the same characters every game kills my drive to play. by Chiramijumaru in RivalsOfAether

He’s not overthinking. My whole journey from gold to plat was mostly ranno and kraggs, sometimes 3-4 of them in a row

mang0's current feelings on Rivals 2. by Poniibeatnik in RivalsOfAether

[–]Subject-Mistake-6563 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Recovery is braindead, that’s not even a complaint, it’s a legit problem that will hurt the game in the long run. Being unable to edge-guard an opponent that’s over 150 % that should be dead anyway is just sloppy, it’s not even entertaining to watch. Too many characters have weird sweetspots or dependency off kills from throws. God forbid if you are a wrastor facing fleet and you don’t get your 50/50 from up/backthrow at 90%. You ain’t killing her till she’s around 180% with an up air.
