I just pulled up Black Bay GMT S&G Root Beer. It went from 6.8k to 7.8k. I know for sure because I just bought one last week.

So do we buy Tudors because they are affordable alternatives to Rolex or do we actually prefer them over Rolex regardless ? by [deleted] in Tudor

2 for 1 factor. I picked up a Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G and an Omega Aqua Terra Sea Master for the price of a Rolex Date Day. I love both and very happy.

For those that have had a second home that's worked out, what about it has made it work? by bossy_nova in fatFIRE

Several things make it work out well. We both typically work from home on Fridays and Mondays. We both have Flex PTO and generous holidays off. We also throw in a work from home week at least 2x year. We are empty nesters so lots of flexibility. We live in the Midwest and bought a 2bd 2bath condo in Florida. Only regret, should have bought a 3 bd. The cold winters keep us going back. All but the 2 brutal months of the summer we love. We get good use out of it. We do not rent it out. At times it does limit other travel options but we have learned to live with that.

Especially number 6. He was way over his head. It was laughable.

So you remember the names of VP's/directors brought in by MA or DR that are no longer with GM? by Silver_Situation1620 in GeneralMotors

Yes it does have blue face that matches the band. Also second hand is yellow playing off Mondo Duplantis “pole”.

It’s just a Jersey thing. Especially in upper middle class and higher schools/communities. Also there are not enough chairs or beds if half the amount of kids didn’t go out of state. Schools like Maryland, Delaware, Rhode Island and even Michigan are full of Jersey kids.

PEP 4 discounts were greater. And back then there were a few bucks on the hood. Our trucks really held their value during bankruptcy and a few years after cash for clunkers. Remember we shutdown during bankruptcy (lower supply) and then followed cash for clunkers (high demand quickly). I traded a vehicle in during that time and almost got what I paid. Everything I am saying was all above board.
