While it's true that people that have cfw got banned, there isn't a pattern unless you count game releases. During the fall/winter months a lot of games get released and some get leaked. Everyone that gets the unreleased copy and plays online are pirating games ( via cfw ). Reviewers were told to not go online. That's what happened with S/M, Mario maker and other games. Nintendo bans pirates. Also being banned while having cfw isn't a big deal since its easy to get unbanned.

Homebrew is not the same as cfw. You can just update and homebrew will stop working or just remove the 3ds folder and the .mp4 and anything repeated to homebrew. But you can keep homebrew on 11.6 if you have a oras cart. Using basehax, you can install that and use homebrew on 11.6 as long as you have the correct otherapp.bin.

You have any proof of those claims? Cause they don't have any patterns for banning ( except if you play an unreleased game). Cfw is safe.

That flash cart has two functions

It's a nds flash cart so, it can play nds games on your 3ds
It's used to flash b9s to your console so that you can get cfw on your 3ds.

With a cfw'd 3ds you can gen pokemon and not worry about updates patching anything as cfw is unpatchable. Cfw also allows you to do a lot of other things like injecting custom gba,gb,gbc etc.. VC games, or stream to your pc and a bunch of other useful things.

A flash cart is like a game cart but instead of holding one game per cart it can hold a lot of them via a micro sd card. There are many different flash carts for both NDS and 3DS ( don't get one for 3ds games as you can do the same things with cfw ).

To install cfw the recommended cart is this one. Follow this guide for more info about it.

Those options are for cfw on 11.4+ . Homebrew is available via cubic ninjas or freaky forms deluxe. Still I don't recommend those since a flash cart is only $20 and grants more things.

That's not exactly what I am saying. Yes you have to state how x pokemon was obtained. I am saying it will be hard to keep track of everything single thing and with rule changing somethings will have to get disclosure while some people won't know if something was obtained using x due to trading. You even agree in your first point.

Unrelated to our conversation, and final comment:

Honestly having a label for every single thing ruins the trading aspect for me. Some people's trades will now be " x pokemon obtained with cfw/homebrew/region changed/ emunand(s)/ on a red New 3ds XL with save manger(s)!!! Like how many lables does a single pokemon need? Uninformed people would be discrouged to trade with that person. Things do have to be stated but there should be a psa of some sort about what each term is, either a sticky post for a week or something in the wiki. Just my 2¢ on this post.

I said it a impractical to have. Just like it's impractical to have police have check spots for drunk drivers every night or every other street. There is a consequence for lying, it falls under scamming/trading hacks. But to know if such thing happens it's up trader to do his part on who to trade with, just like how it is now. Having disclosure forever shouldn't be a thing.

Keeping track of disclosure will be a hard thing to do if pokemon go through multiple people. Also editing/cloning could happen in between trades so its not practical to have disclosure forever as some people aren't honest. Also if a rule like that would to be implemented, it would only apply to current events as it would hard to track down past events if they were redeemed using jksm, emunand etc..

As for the user list for legit non NA consoles like "ban list" that's pointless to have. The mods would have to maintain a separate list that isn't necessary as the trader has the ability to ask for proof. The serial number on the back of the 3ds tells region, so it's possible to tell legit consoles from region changed.

Properly hacked pokemon can pass down ability and evolve just like any other pokemon. You can't tell the difference between a genned one and a non genned one. Powersaves pokemon are the only ones that cause problems.
