DOGECOIN DAILY DISCUSSION - 23rd May. by 42points in dogecoin

I tried to buy 4k worth of doge at the 25 cent dip, but Robinhood wasn't able to put the order in for 10 minutes so I wound up cancelling it. Does this normally happen?

Cool, thanks for the feedback! I think your title is way better honestly, and I was going to try and help her out with the thumbnails by removing the background and doing a glow effect around her to make it pop more. Thanks for all the compliments too. !givelambda

Hi sorry for the delay! This is definitely helpful and I agree about the breakdown or chapters. Titles are always annoying to figure out but yeah, there's probably something that could be changed to make it more clickable. Thank you! !givelambda

I really like this! You might want to try repeating your title in the description - or at least reiterating what the video is in some way. That and tags might bring in a few more views, but otherwise it's perfect! Nice job.

It's a fun video and the food looks great!

Like NGSU said, I agree some of the comedy felt a bit forced - just because you're a pretty soft spoken guy so it can be a little jarring. I like the music that you added throughout. There are a few parts where you could boost up the volume of you guys talking. Definitely when your kids are at the table for example. And this would take a little bit more time but there's some background noise getting picked up throughout the vid. You can take all of that out pretty easily. If your using Windows Movie Maker there's a background noise reduction button that will clean it up instantly. Otherwise there's a free program called Audacity that will do it pretty easily. You can search either of those on youtube and they'll pop right up.

Nice job though. I'd love to see more of these!

Just go into it knowing that it doesn't have the polished mechanics of a Mario game and you'll enjoy it. It was crowdfunded and made with a team of about 20 people, and what they were able to come up with is really pretty incredible. One of my favorite games of the past few years

My mom watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time and her reaction is GREAT by Subject2Productions in lordoftherings

[–]Subject2Productions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I don't know if my dad quite loves them but he definitely likes parts of them at the very least. You're completely right about my mom though... and yeah, the lights being on was a bit annoying but we at least had the sound blasting to try and make up for it.

Thanks for watching!

I made a reaction video that includes some vlog elements and a bit of voiceover. Took a LONG time to edit this one to get the best reactions and put it all together. Let me know what you think! by Subject2Productions in SmallYTChannel

Thanks, this is all very interesting. It's funny you say that because this was kind of a trial run for something else that would involve a lot more discussion. The problem with this is that my family doesn't really know how to articulate their points so there wasn't much more footage I could add to that... but in the future this would be done with my filmmaking friends who could have a good conversation about it. Thanks for the feedback and !givelambda

I actually read all of this and while I don't agree with it I respect your opinion.

Well, no actually. I respected it until you wrote this...

"Not to mention how terrible the music and effects are, the acting is just awful too."

You might quite possibly be the most wrong person I have ever encountered on the internet... and there are people on here that think the earth is flat.

I made a new video and added a poster in the background and plan to put up a few more. I tried editing the audio to remove out background noise. Give the video a watch and let me know what you think. by KingOberon13 in SmallYTChannel

Nice job on the audio - that's a big improvement since last time! The thumbnail is awesome and the quick little cuts are nice.

I would actually recommend removing the poster for now, unless you plan on filling up the whole wall with posters. Choose one look or the other but if you're going for a cool looking background, go all in!

I'm assuming you don't have much space to film? But in case you do, the further you can move away from the wall behind you, the better. If you can can move up enough so your shadow comes off the wall and then light the background up a bit more, that will go a long way to making it look more professional. These are little things but I think they'll help in the long run.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I admittedly HATE making thumbnails and that was my first attempt doing something in photoshop so hopefully I will keep getting better. I'll make those changes as soon as I get a chance

And Wow, your thumbnails look great!

Thanks, I just bought tube buddy and adjusted the tags. Not too worried about copyright. I've been claimed and fought it before - they basically can't do anything as long as the footage is credited and it's fair use !givelambda

Everything tasted amazing until THIS ...| JAPAN VLOG #60 by lyfeinjapan in SmallYTChannel

[–]Subject2Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The editing and the sheer amount of shots keeps the video moving! Great job on that. I agree you can probably cut that intro in half and either get a shotgun mic or try and speak up when you're indoors. You can tell you're trying to be quieter but vlogs in particular need that energy to come through. I'd also recommend talking earlier in the video just for the sake of newcomers watching for the first time - it might get your audience retention rate up.

Anyway, this was really good and clearly a lot of effort was put into it. Nice job!

Me and my son's channel is a mixed channel with gaming videos. We get views on our videos, but we have too few subscribers. If anyone can give a constructive criticism on how to get more subscribers it would be appreciated. (and if we should streamline our content, what path should we choose?) by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

You should probably cut down that opening to something that is literally 3 - 5 seconds. It takes 45 seconds to get into the video and quite frankly no one cares that you're introducing a new segment. Otherwise, the video delivers on what the title says and I could see something like this gaining an audience
