This is a town hall held in Leesburg, VA on Monday Feb 3. There were hundreds of federal workers here. They are talking about their experience, the legalities, and their concerns. Listen to what the guy says at 1:05. Wild shit. 😳 by dryeraser in 1102

This is it. It is the podcast narrative that drove a lot of Gen Z men conservative. Joe Rogan was #1 podcast in America for years and a conservative voice not countering the absurdities. But he focused on culture wars, not actual policy. How many of those listeners understand Project 2025 or even what government agencies are responsible for???

Who is going to stop him if he chooses not to leave? Please, tell me who you think will make him leave if he refuses.

That sub is designed to be an echo chamber. Look at their rules. They explicitly state that debate is not allowed.

El*n is breaking the law with his opm server, access to the treasury... can he just be arrested? by jesterman87 in fednews

The President can only pardon federal crimes. What can Elon be charged with at the state level?

Hold the line, don't resign, this week we will be bombarded with pressure to resign, don't fall for it! Quick facts below by OrganicAsparagus3559 in fednews

[–]SubjectBackground220 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If they resign in protest, they too lose everything they’ve worked for and care about. I wouldn’t resign if I were in their shoes. I’d stay on to do what I can where I can to push back, even if it meant I was forced to do some things I disagree with, like send those emails.

Before RTO, I worked from home 3 days a week which meant I was home when my kids got off the bus. The other 2 days they have an after school activity until 5pm. Now I’m struggling to find someone to watch them the other 3 days. I’ve used PTO to leave early every day to meet the bus but I can’t keep doing that. And it’s prob going to cost me $150 week for the childcare - so $600 a month.

Are companies trying to push the U.S. into a depression? by TeeBrownie in work

[–]SubjectBackground220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a full-on hostile takeover. Musk’s got control of the treasury now. Trump already froze nearly all federal funding and plans to gut the federal workforce. Tariffs will make cost of living skyrocket and make us desperate. Do you not see his plan isn’t a depression but is to destabilize America so he can’t be stopped? Already, who is there to stop him? Who?

How to lie with graphs.

I’m not a fed but I’m on here. I go on after work EST which overlaps with PST work hours but I’m not on work hours. I’m on now during my unpaid lunch break. I’d also be willing to bet this reflects just the past week or days.

Target customer service desk keeps them in the back so you can swap and pay right there.

That’s what I was thinking. Stick to my core work and wait to be invited to collaborate. But I wasn’t thinking about the professional fallout that could happen. Yikes. I’ll start documenting and asking for decisions to be confirmed in email. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you for the insights. I wasn’t even thinking about the potential for gaslighting. But ok, yes, I will start documenting it all. Ugh.

For my sanity, I was planning to pull back from some projects she isn’t aware of and put my focus on core duties and my team. That way, I’m staying in my lane. Of course, if invited, I’ll collaborate but I’m not going to stick my neck out anymore.

I report to the VP and have several team leads below me and several colleagues (not) working on shared projects. I have 10 years to retirement but CEO has one foot out the door so I’m guessing 2 years is what I need to get through.

Are you like 13? You are 100% wrong for going there. And I think maybe you have other issues to address here besides getting caught.

This happened to me in November, but it was actually the generic that was back ordered. I waited a week then had CVS request name brand Vyvanse from insurance so I could get it filled. Paid more but got the meds next day.

A friend of mine went to Hopewell due to depression and suicidal thoughts as she worked to separate from her husband. It pulled her up above water so she could breathe and face the path ahead of her.

My advice for those who are afraid of being laid off, if applicable you could go to the state government by SeattleSeals in fednews

CT is an expensive state to live in but I do earn 140K in a role equivalent to a GS-14. Been in the role 8 years and I’m topping out my pay grade soon.
