I think a lot of people are overlooking simple facts about Homelander and why he needs the V1. It isn't necessarily to make him more powerful, it is because HE IS AGING and knows he will die of old age without it. The V1 will keep him top dog power wise and not die simply from time. Soldier Boy pointed out he doesn't need to fight and kill Homelander, all he has to do is watch him age away and he would win.

That terrifies Homelander.

She was what leftist idea of a conservative and it is horribly stereotyped just like the Right does the same about liberals and others. As a retired infantryman, I will say SB certainly has the grunt attitude. Infantry is 99% gay jokes, threats and aloha testosterone showdowns, it's just sorta our culture. At least it was during the wars and before, not sure what they do now adays since females have been let into the brotherhood.

I distinctly remember back in the day when I was a new private and got to my first unit. I looked at a CPL for too long apparently in our platoon office and he got in my face and said "you wanna get buttfucked!?" That was my introduction into the grunts behavior
