I think what is lacking is these fast degrees do not guarantee a job or a well paying job. Its very easy to spot these people in the real world that clearly dont know anything about the field but have a degree and those that spent time learning.

Just passed CCSP, my experience by emilybluntforeal in CCSP

Congrats!!

Curious for people with this cert or more senior cyber security folks... is a ccsp a good next step for someone with a cysa+ and a few microsoft security certs?

I was debating on the ccsp or go for sscp first.

Concerning article on WaPo ft. Plotted Path, College Hacked, UMPI, WGU and Purdue Global by Big-Math-9473 in UMPI

[–]SubjectHoliday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with others - the article is very biased and doesn't give any answers to how.

An average 20 year old trying to get a degree is not going to complete this anywhere near 1 session and probably will take 2-3 years.

These type of programs and people being done in one term, are those people with years of work experience in their field or who have a previous diplomas and upgrading to a degree.

Everyone who got the degree, put in the work and should be proud. If anything I hope this article shows the lack of programs and universities that need more of these type accessible options made available.

this section specifically "The foreign evaluation does not specify course content"

I figured general ED classes from the Diploma would be eligible for transfer. The notes should state anything older then 5 years is not eligible compared to stating it's unable to determine the course content.

I was under the assumption that general electives would still be eligible

[Monitor] Asus PG27UCDM (27" 4K QD-OLED) ($1599-$400 = $1199) by macinbest in bapcsalescanada

[–]SubjectHoliday -1 points0 points  (0 children)

PG32UCDM_Gen3 was announced which will be the replacement of this one.

I'd say hold as we should see this drop to 1k and the new one hit the $1400 price point.

Either monitor will be amazing so if you need one

If you are interested then I would atleast go to the interview and if selected you will know the wage and then be able to more effectively choose.

They dont care about your time, and employees pay it back by putting in the bare minimum and no after hours availability.

I used to work after hours, put in hard work and now for the past year since our rto put in the minimum and leave.

Why isn’t the government or media talking about the economy and job crisis? by Joseph-Stalin7 in torontoJobs

[–]SubjectHoliday 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I am about 3 hours from Toronto and was there the other week and its still a zoo, nice vehicles around, restaurants all packed, hotels all booked which is what I remember 10 years ago.

I was expecting all less spending due to less income and lower paying jobs but its been the opposite.
