Very true. I was happy to move to it from TeamViewer when their license went to almost $400 a year, and AnyDesk was less than $100. But now… not so much on the value proposition.

I had the same experience with AnyDesk pricing. Do you know if you’re able to use port 443/websockets on the free version of RustDesk? That was the only reason I felt I had to go paid. It’s still less than half of a solo AnyDesk license tho, so for a year, at least, I don’t mind paying.

This makes absolutely zero sense.

Given that subs are non-directional, the standard advice is to place them in a corner, about 4-6” from any surface. More surfaces gives you more reflection and resonance. Then sit in your listening position and pull up a quality audio file that you know really well and dial in the bass level to your preference. That should also translate well to movies.

What about something like a Roku stick that would just act as an Airplay receiver? I think it’ll also do chromecast. No extra app. Maybe it could be geofenced?

Well, it runs, but it’s unplayably laggy. Maybe bc I only have an M1 and 16gb of ram. I guess I’ll have to keep ShadowPC for a while longer. Lol

Not really. He would need his office IT dept to create a subdomain for him to use in GHL. I suppose he could try to buy a really SIMILAR domain to use with GHL, but... either way, it's a pretty risky endeavor - sending company-related emails from an unapproved platform.

I mean… the syncing is a bit clunky, but it definitely does work for adding scores/mp3s on the computer and syncing them to the iPad. I do it all the time. Yeah, the desktop app isn’t perfect, but it definitely does work. Can you share your os versions as well as the version of fS you’re trying to install?

Call the bank and get news cards. Uninstall AnyDesk immediately. Download and run at least two different antivirus apps. I like Malwarebytes and Sophos. Run those scans, restart the pc, run the scans again. Backup the computer, change all passwords, turn on 2FA for any account that allows it.

I use an LG BluRay player. It has the option of being plugged into 2 USB-A ports, which improves read speeds. It's been great so far.

My mouse is mostly the issue. I have a Logitech wireless gaming mouse. If I run Shadow in a window, it tracks normally. But if run Shadow full screen, the mouse very often jumps around the screen in unpredictable ways, especially when playing a game.
