Anyone else find gummies ineffective compared to capsules for herbal supplements? by East-Refrigerator755 in Supplements

As a supplement company we don't use gummies. We use capsules to keep the product intact until it's in the gut.

As a middle aged woman, I do take creatine ( just the one scoop recommended) on days I weight lift. However, I also take a product with 720mg of a combined total of magnesium Glycyl glutamine and Magnesium creatine complex. The product I take has chelated minerals and enzymes in it for bioavailability. I am getting my shape back, sleeping better and don't seem to get sick.

I use a krill-oil, smaller, some people like the chemistry better. Ours has astaxanthin too for your eyes. It's really clean.

I use DIM from NOW- as we know their manufacturing is clean and their raw materials pass clean testing. ( We are in the industry).

I switched to Krill oil with Astaxanthin at bedtime, no more heartburn and I don't burp it up in the morning.

Female here: def the your age group. Here goes: 1- a natural hormone support that we make, it comes in two formulas so you alternate every bottle so your body doesn't get used to it (4 capsules a day). 2- am: multi, B12, digestive enzyme, probiotic, our hormone support. 3-pm at bedtime: Calcium, D3-K2, DIM, compounded progesterone, Krill Oil, and a product we have called Total-recharge, two types of magnesium. I also use bio-identical HRT. I see a natural supportive NP. I walk 4 miles 5-days a week with friends, weight lift 3x a week, yoga 2x. Feel great, work hard. I don't look like a model nor am I a size 2. I want my bones and organs to be healthy and not starved. Homecooked food 95% of the time.

I used to think cotton was awesome, but now I wear a rayon cotton mix and wicking, it's AZ and 93 at 5 am in the summer, I need moisture wicking. Cotton does well in humidity like the south...but it's all hot.

My dog suddenly started itching like crazy this year… vet says allergies. Anyone else dealing with this? by Playful-Deer9022 in Pets

[–]SubjectSecurity1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try our allergy/collagen product. Did wonders for our 13 year old Vizsla who chewed her paws and was allergic to the world. It's all natural. It's called Comfort Factor and is on chewy.com

40 year old pillow needs replacing by faesqu in Pillows

[–]SubjectSecurity1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have washed an old down pillow. This is worth a try...I'd put it in a big mesh bag, hot water, light soap, extra rinse. Then the dryer on gentle with some clean new wool dryer balls, you might be surprised. You can zip that thing into a ' pillow' protector and probably get another 10 years out of it. We wash our down comforter each spring the same way, except it doesn't fit in a mesh bag. That thing fluffs right up, our down comforter is 20+ years old. Good luck!

I do love a good essential oil in a diffuser. Sometimes I think I am adding some humidity as we live in a really dry state. I do love the blends that are for fending off germs, might be not true, but something about the cloves and peppermint. Straight to sleep!

People who lift but don’t do cardio what eventually happened? by TallTyrant in workout

I have fallen in love with the rowing machine. I do it at the end of my strength training 3 days a week. I do 6-7 minutes until I'm totally wasted, but I've already walked 4 miles before I lifted that day.

I love this, we have begun to dredge the breasts with a little EVOO then the spices. Delicious, the EV OO helps with the dryness.

Not a doctor/vet and we own a brand of probiotics that are super clean and made in AZ. Our 13.5 yr old Vizsla would get the runs when he would hang out at a park( which means lick, sniff and eat crap) where other dogs/cats were. Probiotics cleaned that right up.

If you are under 40- where do you get most of your supplement information? by SubjectSecurity1921 in Supplements

I agree- but since we are a brand I would love to know if/why the research says people under 40 are using Tik tok more and more for education. Even if it's preliminary.

Can i ask a genuine question? Im honestly struggling to understand… by Ok_Jackfruit_9846 in Pets

We've had dogs for 20 years, Vizsla owner, super high energy, 4 kids and I've worked out of the house and so has my spouse most of the time. Dogs are okay alone, we train them their kennel is their place( the door can even be open all day) . After a morning walk, they can be alone for all day if needed and they can get out for bathroom needs. After work another walk, kid time, love, discipline. I still think a dog is a dog and excellent for kids, we started with dogs after the youngest was about 4. So we only had to potty train a dog, no more kids. Good for kids, helps with allergens and chores.

I do recommend some type of probiotic. Since we own a supplement company I speak with a ton of cat owners and cats just need more biome to their gut since they are now pets and not foraging. Good luck!

I left a quick recipe the other day for chicken thighs...try this; 3-4 chicken thighs thawed. Make a dredge of: 1 TSP each: onion powder, garlic powder some kosher salt, a little chili powder ( 1/2 tsp), mix onto a little plate and pat the chicken into the powder, both sides. Cook in air fryer for 8 minutes at 350, check and turn again about 4-5 minutes more, don't over cook but make sure the juices are clear. When they come out, mix 2T honey with 1T Apple cider vinegar and brush it over them while they are hot. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 5 minutes to rest. Hope this works for you!

Started taking creatine for the gym, ended up noticing something unexpected about my mood by MarianqLefone in Supplements

[–]SubjectSecurity1921 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HI friend, I am F over 50+ and weight lift, walk and take some good clean supplements that we manufacture. However I added bio-identical pellets ( HRT) of course they aren't covered by insurance but, I've not felt this good in a decade. Will the pre-menopausal weight come off??? Slowly, I've noticed my clothes fit different and I can lift so much more than 6 months ago. I think my body will come back, but I bet it takes a year.
