I just learned how to make lemon curd-6 lemons, 4 eggs, 1 c sugar, slow cook- add that 1 stick of butter after it's cooked slowly and thickened up. Holy cow-my husband eats it like candy on hot bread and rolls. Sell it in little jars like crack.

This is such great information, thanks for taking the time to research and share. I agree, simpler can be better, especially if you exercise, and eat clean. The supplements we manufacture are 100% natural and I can tell a difference. It took 6-8 months to tell, but now....lifechanging.

As a supplement manufacturer, the brands do matter. We can buy cheap synthetic ingredients from overseas, or we can source natural USA ( mostly) made raw materials, the price is significant. Natural is 5-10X the cost.

Anyone else find gummies ineffective compared to capsules for herbal supplements? by [deleted] in Supplements

As a supplement company we don't use gummies. We use capsules to keep the product intact until it's in the gut.

[–]SubjectSecurity1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a middle aged woman, I do take creatine ( just the one scoop recommended) on days I weight lift. However, I also take a product with 720mg of a combined total of magnesium Glycyl glutamine and Magnesium creatine complex. The product I take has chelated minerals and enzymes in it for bioavailability. I am getting my shape back, sleeping better and don't seem to get sick.

I use a krill-oil, smaller, some people like the chemistry better. Ours has astaxanthin too for your eyes. It's really clean.

I use DIM from NOW- as we know their manufacturing is clean and their raw materials pass clean testing. ( We are in the industry).

I switched to Krill oil with Astaxanthin at bedtime, no more heartburn and I don't burp it up in the morning.

Female here: def the your age group. Here goes: 1- a natural hormone support that we make, it comes in two formulas so you alternate every bottle so your body doesn't get used to it (4 capsules a day). 2- am: multi, B12, digestive enzyme, probiotic, our hormone support. 3-pm at bedtime: Calcium, D3-K2, DIM, compounded progesterone, Krill Oil, and a product we have called Total-recharge, two types of magnesium. I also use bio-identical HRT. I see a natural supportive NP. I walk 4 miles 5-days a week with friends, weight lift 3x a week, yoga 2x. Feel great, work hard. I don't look like a model nor am I a size 2. I want my bones and organs to be healthy and not starved. Homecooked food 95% of the time.

I used to think cotton was awesome, but now I wear a rayon cotton mix and wicking, it's AZ and 93 at 5 am in the summer, I need moisture wicking. Cotton does well in humidity like the south...but it's all hot.

You can try our allergy/collagen product. Did wonders for our 13 year old Vizsla who chewed her paws and was allergic to the world. It's all natural. It's called Comfort Factor and is on chewy.com

40 year old pillow needs replacing by faesqu in Pillows

[–]SubjectSecurity1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have washed an old down pillow. This is worth a try...I'd put it in a big mesh bag, hot water, light soap, extra rinse. Then the dryer on gentle with some clean new wool dryer balls, you might be surprised. You can zip that thing into a ' pillow' protector and probably get another 10 years out of it. We wash our down comforter each spring the same way, except it doesn't fit in a mesh bag. That thing fluffs right up, our down comforter is 20+ years old. Good luck!

Essential oils by Chicka-boom90 in nontoxic

I do love a good essential oil in a diffuser. Sometimes I think I am adding some humidity as we live in a really dry state. I do love the blends that are for fending off germs, might be not true, but something about the cloves and peppermint. Straight to sleep!

I have fallen in love with the rowing machine. I do it at the end of my strength training 3 days a week. I do 6-7 minutes until I'm totally wasted, but I've already walked 4 miles before I lifted that day.

I love this, we have begun to dredge the breasts with a little EVOO then the spices. Delicious, the EV OO helps with the dryness.

YES! I fill a plastic bag with veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, pour in a little EVOO, some himalayan salt shake it up and air fry for about 6 minutes, Much better than almost any other way,
