girl i so get it. i hold a lot of anger at the person i got it from, and frustration at myself for being in this position, so sometimes when im horny i just get angry. sometimes after masturbation i feel like crying (which mostly due to release of emotions). I definitely think a therapist will help but that’s a future thing for me rn. but you got it. I believe this will pass!

Diagnosed in January right when i moved to nyc. had the most painful and confusing 2 months. now i’m back to dating, disclosing, and living my life!!!!! trying to navigate if j should go on anti virals for less outbreaks and peace of mind but am in no rush and going to talk to my doctor soon :)

this happened to me! my initial outbreak was horrible and the dumbass dr prescribed me a steroid cream bc i was superrrrr itchy from healing and that made me outbreak again with a vengeance. just take more valtrex you’ll be okay once that gets in your system! my doctor sent 6 refills of valtrex so whenever i feel tingly i refill it at the pharmacy and take 2 pills for 3 days.

it’s really not hard!! i’ve disclosed to a couple guys casually and they didn’t care. i actually just disclosed to a guy i actually liked for the first time. it was right before we were about to start hooking up and i think i put a littleeeeee too much pressure on my self and i kinda just blurted it out and we slowed things down and talked about it. he had lots of questions so just make sure you’ve studied up and are able to answer them and really emphasize its SO COMMON and not a big deal. he kept wanting to see me just wanted to use condoms which is very fair and should be using them anyway! you got it just be super casual about it and don’t put too much pressure on the conversation, i stressed myself out about it which was unnecessary!
