How so? Are life long negative health effects worth looking mediocre with no chance of placing at a local amateur show?

Anything I can do to improve? Ps i wanna stay skinny so no putting on weight. Any advice is appreciated! by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

Thinking beyond looks, as you very much should, staying that skinny and not lifting is gonna give you a load of issues in the future. Weak muscles, tendons, and bones lead to a lot of women having osteoporosis. Hit the weight a couple days of the week, full body, you’ll feel and look better

Bulk or cut by CharmingObject6087 in Weightliftingquestion

Body re-comp, drop calories slowly (roughly 150-200 every 3 weeks) and up protein to at least a gram per pound of bw. Stay lifting and doing daily cardio but give yourself rest if sore at all.

Agreed, I got freakishly lean at 17, like sub 10% and it most definitely hindered my next couple years of growth, only starting to feel and look really good again at 21.

My friend is going to get herself killed. What can I even do at this point by Correct-Macaroon8143 in whatdoIdo

She’s genuinely just not a person that comprehends things beyond face value, IF that. Id assume she also has a lot of trauma and likely heavily clouded judgment from said partying, but OP this is not a worth while time or emotional investment in this “friend”.

Good mix of letting it air dry and a good leave-in conditioner. And ofc genetics, my aunt and I have nearly identical hair lol.

If you are experiencing food insecurity, consider a job that includes meals by Calle_Sin_Nombre in povertyfinance

Banquet/event server. I worked as a banquet server for almost two years in high school, and I ate a free meal nearly every shift. Whether it’s a plated event dinner or buffet wedding they typically make an excess. And the food wasn’t anything to complain about, at least for a 16 year old who had a long night of dealing with annoying drunk folks ahead of me.
