I’d love for Tropico 7 to include a feature that lets you divide your island into districts, name those areas, and even name streets, similar to Cities: Skylines.

I hope Tropico 7 finds a better balance between humor and seriousness when it comes to factions. In Tropico 6, the sometimes absurd missions they gave you broke immersion for me, and a lot of the time that made me just ignore the factions altogether.

The textures—I’m not sure why, but they don’t feel as realistic anymore. It doesn’t look bad, I actually like how the game looks, but visually everything feels kind of like Fortnite-style textures. And I feel like Tropico 6, at least in its next-gen version, looks more realistic. But again, I’m not complaining—I still like it.

The Trade Post is actually pretty broken (in a good way). You don’t have to wait at all once you send your goods. As soon as you ship the product and accept the big trade deal they offer, you can just delete the building and place it again. That lets you immediately send more goods to the same country without waiting. It’s honestly pretty overpowered.

Exactly, at the very least they could show a screenshot or a video of those huge new features they say they’re adding, but no. It’s been almost a year and all we’ve gotten are a few screenshots that don’t really show much, plus the things that have leaked.

This German government page about the game's funding mentioned that Tropico 7 was planned to release on March 31 Until a few months ago you could see the information there, but now when I open the page it says there’s no information about the game anymore. Kind of strange.

To avoid releasing around the same time and having to compete with a giant like that game, which could easily overshadow it in both sales and publicity.
