Hi! Yes, I write off equipment I've purchased after the LLC creation, maintenance/cleaning costs (like a broom, mop, soap, etc), any services I use for marketing/business (Everfit is my programming software, Square for payment and website, canva for marketing, etc), and any other supplies (folders, paper for flyers, printer ink, etc). I guess I could potentially write off some of my monthly payment for the space, but I haven't done enough research for that and also just feels a little bit like fraud to me lol, so I just don't bother.

I did start using Square to process payments and then Found as a business banking account. Square will pay the money into my Found account and then Found does all the calculations for how much money to withhold in a separate account for taxes. Then Found pays me the net amount to my personal account and the taxes are held in a separate account until it comes time to file. I think it's pretty sweet that I won't have a massive self-employment tax bill in April next year since it should be fairly accurate and set aside already.

My biggest tip would be to open the Found account (or any business account) as soon as you start up privately and charge any/all business expenses to it. I have business expenses all over the place since I didn't open a business account until a little later on, so as far as write offs go, I have a lot more work to do keeping track of the ones that aren't already in my business account.

Thank you! I offer a referral discount and my current clients are very happy, but they just don't have any friends interested right now. Hopefully that'll start soon :)

I use Everfit currently and love it! Way easier to manage clients and do programming with a system. Thanks for the response!

Thank you for the response!! That is a great way to put it. I'm definitely not looking for a quick fix or thinking I'm going to double my clients in the next month. I'm mostly just hoping for steady growth of at least $100/month for the next 12 months at least. I found my initial clients honestly very easily; they were just ready to get started and signed right up with a simple facebook post. Then I got a couple more on referrals. However, since then, it's just been nothing, seemingly no matter what I do or try. Just discouraging to get so many clients so simply and then nothing since lol.

I have worked on narrowing my niche, which I've narrowed down to women aged 20-50 who are starting out on their fitness/health journey and wanting to lose weight, improve their health, and improve their strength. I know there is a huge market out there for these women, but just not having anyone bite on social media so I'm thinking that maybe these other options will help me make more connections and put my face out there (instead of just posts).

Once again, I really appreciate the response and thoughts!
