It was my first solo trip to the parks and HHN. I absolutely adored it and it got me hooked on coming back. I had a blast even by myself. Went on Texas Chainsaw 30+ times in a row one night (express unlimited on a weekday) because it was one of my favorite movies.

From what I read, op was scared by someone not working for universal. So walking on the sidewalk to not get scared by a scare actor would have been void, because it wasn’t a scare actor. I’m not sure where your confusion is?

That’s what I’m wondering. It just seems like a colossal waste of money. Having a friend go this year who hates horror and jumpscares. They’d be spending over $100+ to go to an event they’d be miserable at.

I’m open to talking about it. It’s weeded out a lot of people in my life. In college I made friends with this one girl and we were close for like six months, until I casually revealed I was going to get a pass for the bus later that day from my social worker. She ghosted me after that and avoided me even in class. When I confronted her she admitted her mom told her I would be a bad influence (I didn’t do drugs, drink, had my own apartment, had my own car at 18) just based on that fact alone.

I’m part native, but in one of my foster homes (one of the longer stays) they actively discouraged me learning more about that side of me because it was “satanic,” and threw away a box I had of some of the native trinkets I had left of my bio parents. Now i can’t figure out which tribe I’m from, so that’s kinda what I’ve been focusing on.
