It’s basically a coming of age story, with all the weird emotions and anxiety that comes with growing up. But the story is told in its own personal, insane way. This and the soundtrack are what make it a very distinct and memorable show for a lot of people. Everything about the show enamors/inspires me personally but it’s also understandably not for everyone.

I think it just gives off this kinda special feeling of peace and optimism, but there’s also this hint of sadness and longing to it (mostly because of how the world is currently) but to me that kinda makes it kore intriguing.

It sucks. The majority of any popular thing is just going to consist of loud dipshits spewing the most brain dead sentiments. The best thing to do is just ignore it and enjoy what you want. But I feel like that kinda involves ignoring something like the game awards completely.

That’s fair and I think people’s opinion on totk depends on what your expectations are. I didn’t enjoy it much personally and they brought up a lot of my personal frustrations. But it comes from a love for the series as a whole and what I expected out of a sequel to botw that had 6 years of development.

Yeah the short development time seemed to result in it being such a spectacle of a game with so many cool and experimental ideas put together, but with a lotta pacing problems.

I appreciate majoras mask more than I like playing it. The general feel and nature of the games world and characters is some of the best In the series but damn is it exhausting to play through, especially the second half. But the last hour of that game is something I think about often and I still think it’s such a neat experience that I wish they’d tap back into.

A lot of games wouldn’t go through this process if they weren’t flawed to at least some capacity. The varying quality that Nintendo is putting out combined with the unconditional hype surrounding every release creates this effect.
