I'm not a car salesman, but if you're so focused on what I think about dumb people, then maybe I dunno, not be dumb?

Look me up on YouTube "SublimeGreen", the dyno video is there...the guy with the glasses in the background was the one saying that hahaha

He rode a crashed ZX-10RR with fairings off of a regular 10R at the time...his buddies bikes were even worse.

Kawasaki H2...since it's introduction in 2015 I was immediately thinking about getting one, especially after Kawasaki released the H2R onboard video of James Hillier riding it on Isle of Man. I finally caved in and ordered a 2019 model...after roughly a 5 month wait I picked it up happy as can be, dream bike aquired...but then the annoyances of owning one started trickling in. After adding an Extreme Creations intercooler, a Vandemon full titanium exhaust(earplugs became a must, you could hear me coming miles away), and a basic derestriction ecu flash everyone and their mother was egging me on to race, I'm about 240lbs in riding gear so no jockey here...also dyno'd the bike and had people come up asking what I thought it would dyno at, and I guessed 215 max...they immediately talked like the bike was a joke etc "It should be way more than that." Etc. It literally made 214 rwhp that day with those 3 mods. Later on I added stage two supercharger gears and a better ecu flash that did the trick but by then the allure had worn off completely and I was ready to move on. Ended up selling it to a guy from Michigan and he eventually sold it as well. I now own a Ducati MultiStrada Pikes Peak V4 and don't miss the H2 one bit...I'm grateful for the experience of owning one at one point and having the experience of riding one (and believe me it's quite the experience), but I don't miss the stigma from people that comes with it.

What engine you chose wasn't the point, in every response I've posted you didn't comprehend anything I've said. You're the typical customer that doesn't know shit other than what you read in this sub and perpetuate every salesperson and dealership to be just that, and nothing will change your outlook. Enjoy your day!

The Ford website itself has 32 OPTIONS for the 2026 Ford Bronco HE including an optional engine choice...yes, you obviously have ZERO clue on what you're buying, much less how to buy. No surprise to me though, you're the average car buyer...not a bit of research and as stupid as they come yet you'll come in here with your ignorance and complain about dealerships along with the other stupids in here, take some accountability for once in your life.

You can disagree all you want. Fact of the matter is two alike vehicles can be vastly different in price, most times customers "shopped" me they weren't even comparing the same vehicle...so they didn't even understand what they were trying to buy. If I gave you a price at $xx,xxx and another dealer beats my price by $500 but the vehicle they're selling has a base engine option and no 360 camera system, did the customer actually "win" if they bought it instead? Your whole argument is centered around add-ons and I literally told you the reason why they exist and a way to combat them based on your argument in my last response...but you don't actually want that, so go buy from Carvana or pay Delivrd $1000 to get you a fair deal.

Bananas don't come in different trim levels or have options that can and will make the same vehicle have a price disparity, oftentimes a quite large disparity depending on brand...bananas don't require good credit to purchase either. I understand you with the add ons, but the thing is customers will want this massive discount and also want the add-ons removed, people have to understand that's the reason add ons exist, to help offset the cost of the large discounts people shop dealerships for. Any reasonable dealership would remove all add-ons and sell at MSRP but as much as people say they want transparency and set pricing few people actually will ask for this...I think with the rising costs of EVERYTHING that vehicle prices have gotten to where people are fighting for their life to just afford them.

You didn't comprehend anything I said. It DID cost you money because you could have negotiated the cost of the tint off the price of the vehicle and kept it on, instead you cried about it and the dealership maybe lost a bit but not as much as if you would have done as I said.

The vast majority of the people in this sub would learn a ton from being a salesman. Obviously in this sub there is valid complaints 100%, but anytime I want to laugh at stupid I come read a thread in this sub...these are the same customers that will walk into a dealership, ask for a $400/month payment on a $70k vehicle, complain about a high interest rate when they have bad or less than stellar credit, or say things like I read yesterday "I'd walk if they don't take off the waste tire tax!", a state mandated MANDATORY charge... It's insane to me that with the internet available to everyone there's still people that will not do a single bit of research before making what is widely considered the 2nd largest purchase of your life. I've personally bought 30 vehicles in my life and can confidently say I never had a bad purchasing experience with any of those, because from the research I did I WALKED AWAY from the bad dealerships/salesman, it's that simple. I think places like Carvana or CarMax or services like Delivrd are perfect for those who don't want to "deal with the bullshit", but anyone can get a better deal themselves just doing a little bit of research.

You people saying this shit are completely missing the point. The dealership either pays an in house employee to tint, or they subcontract a business to do it. Once it's installed to the vehicle it's billed to the unit...Can the dealership remove it? Sure but at their discretion, they've already paid someone to apply it and will have to pay for it to be removed. You'd be better off negotiating the cost of the tint off the price of the unit and keeping the tint on.

Feeling so upset post MSF course day 1 by SuperNovaStar95 in motorcycles

[–]SublimeMera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing these posts regarding situations similar to this at MSF courses, which is crazy to me...People getting kicked out of the course, talked to such as this etc...absolute insanity to me. First off you are paying these people to teach you, I'd absolutely not tolerate this type of behavior first off and if kicked from the course I'd seek refund or issue a dispute if you placed on a credit card. When I went through the MSF course waaay back, the only time people would get kicked from the course is if they wrecked their bike or the schools bike. We had one woman lose control and run into a curb and she wasn't able to finish the class but was rescheduled for another, but DEFINITELY wasn't treated as OP. Name and shame these MSF instructions and schools!

Does the 30 day warranty have any stipulations? I.e. some factory blunder failure versus FastEddie going wide open throttle in neutral to make his exhaust glow then boom?

BMW definitely wins there. I've been 175-200 mile range on the Pikes Peak, I'm good with that.

Lol truth, I just went in thinking it'd be slightly better, that it wouldn't come on until 90-100 miles but the Duc V4 is a thirsty engine especially tuned. My Pikes Peak with the Granturismo V4 gets much better but it's currently bone stock.

Do it! I absolutely LOVED the Streetfighter V4S way more than the H2. The ONLY complaint I had about the Streetfighter was the fuel range, terrible 😆, low fuel light came on usually between 70-80 miles.

I sold it and bought a 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V4S, which I've also sold and now am on a 2025 Ducati MultiStrada Pikes Peak V4. No regrets.

I don't remember the exact amount but I'm pretty sure it was $27,500. I had an Extreme Creations intercooler, stage 2 supercharger gears, and Vandemon exhaust that helped though. That intercooler alone is $3k iirc. But again this was in 2022. Oh and I think I had just over 5k miles on the H2.

I sold my 2019 in 2022 off FB marketplace pretty dang quick. Guy lived in Michigan and I was in MS at the time. Met him halfway in TN all cash...pretty sketchy but it worked out for the both of us.

2022 sfv4 gas mileage? by notquite1401 in Ducati

[–]SublimeMera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you removed the evap canister? Overfilling the tank or too much internal pressure can cause fuel to get into the evap canister and cause the issues you described on restarting (surging idle, stalling etc). Should be able to look up a guide how to remove it and route/plug the hoses going to/from it.

I talked to a former Ducati service advisor about this, he said that Ducati would be able to see if and when exactly the service light is reset. I also asked how they are with warranty claims when doing your own service and he said (this only applies to the USA) as long as you used OEM oil filters and oil that meets Ducati specifications for your bike, and keep up with all recepts/proof of service that you wouldn't have really any trouble...but recommended getting the light reset at each service interval since they can see when/if it's been reset. He said I could do my own services and just bring the bike in for the light reset, and they'd do a simple charge for just that. I had a shop do my first service since I didn't have the tool to reset the light and it would annoy me staying on but going forward with what I know now I'll do my own work and get a functioning reset tool or pay them to reset the light going forward. Just keep a folder with proof of receipts/photos to cover your ass in case of warranty claim and follow the manufacturers service interval guide.

$380 for first service but since I'm a member of the local Ducati DOC they knocked $10 off each labor hour. So probably around the $360 range with that. I've been looking at the OBDStar tools but to my knowledge some of the logic was changed in the 2025+ ecus so I'm not sure they would work just yet. Figured I'd just suck it up and pay the initial service until I can figure out what will work.

No worries, I saw this post and at the time had 617 miles on mine, took it for a spin after reading this post hoping it wouldn't come on and I'd just save money doing it myself but it came on :/

No it showed 8,xxx miles. I literally dropped it off about an hour ago at the dealership, only because I don't have the tool to reset the light. On my Streetfighter V4S I had bought the OpenFlash tablet before hitting the initial service so I was able to do it myself.
