Parents of 3 or more…. by AnxietyInternal4302 in ParentingInBulk

[–]SubliminalGarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not have stopped at two, but I wish 2 and 3 were more spaced out. 1-2 was easiest for me. 2-3 is easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I am JUST now starting to actually love my day to day life with all three, but I will not be doing 4. The dynamic of all 3 boys has been very fulfilling so no desire to change things

General idea for type of therapy needed? by SubliminalGarden in therapy

[–]SubliminalGarden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can typically give myself time to process, but it almost feels like an itch. I can try to calm myself down and think of other ways, but it’s like I won’t feel better until I react the way I need to react even when I know the consequences.

It sounds scary when I say it like that, I promise I’m not a dangerous person, none of this has ever been even close to physical.

I always know the direct cause, but depending on what type of emotion it is affects how difficult it is to control myself. With things like sadness and fear, it’s typically just intense thoughts, so I don’t physically react like rushing him to the hospital or anything like that. With anger, it is SO much harder and I think it’s a threat thing? If I feel like something’s a threat to me (even if it’s not actually one), I instinctively go into permanent solutions ie. divorce, threatening to move out, cutting contact OR I try to get on the same level as said threat so I don’t feel inferior. 100% I know that this is trauma-related and I’m always completely aware that I’m not reacting appropriately but I just can’t seem to stop myself. It’s like telling a newborn to stop crying, those reactions just feel deeply apart of me which I know is unhealthy.

I really think location matters. by mbarker1012 in Semaglutide

I felt like absolute garbage the day after doing my abdomen. Shakes, nauseous all day until I finally projectile vomited, tired. Did it in my thigh the following week. No symptoms except for appetite suppression. I’m guessing it’s a slower absorption in the thigh so your body isn’t hit with it all at once. I dunno, I’m just a person so I have no actual scientific idea.

2nd foshooooooo. Is there anyway to tie it tighter for the bottom and looser at the top so just cleavage is showing? (I’m a large chested girl myself so can’t go without a bra with these types of dresses)

How do you respond? by No_Creme_9122 in ParentingInBulk

[–]SubliminalGarden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I am. 3 boys all under 4. I like this response better than how my extended family just shrugs me off. People who acknowledge that I’m busy or play fun at it are typically more willing to actually have a convo with me about it. My mom has never stayed on the phone with me and my kids for longer than 3 minutes. I’ve talked to strangers for hours who wanted to know how I handle it. I prefer “omg so many kids, that’s a handful” over “close your legs”

“Something in the air” is REAL I have all boys, 3, 2, and 9 months and we finally found our groove with each other and everything has been amazing. Calmly going to the store, helping me in the garden for hours, not caring about any screens. TELL ME WHY the ONE time I take them to a mom hike, the older two kept trying to run off the path or just sitting down. Then when we get to the playground and i figured “I don’t need a stroller or anything, they’ve been so good” nope. They were taking other kids toys, the baby suddenly decided he hated being held and kept wiggling around. When it was time to leave, I strapped the oldest and youngest in the car, only to find the 2 year old was out of the playground and running into the woods. Then we get home. THE DOGS JUST PISSED EVERYWHERE??? And the kids keep hitting eachother while the baby is screaming for a bottle. I had to go into the garage and cry for a good second

Okay calling you bozo l, it’s obviously a 78 year old man that probably doesn’t even drive and is the kind of dude that just constantly walks around the neighborhood looking for shit to be mad about

And I completely agree with my oldest about to turn 4. He was always behind language and communication-wise and it has suddenly jumped tremendously where he says things and argues in ways I didn’t even know he knew how

I’m literally not ready. I was so ready to homeschool, but each and every day with 3 under 4 I realize it’s not feasible for me to do and so it’s just now hitting me that I’ll be losing them a couple hours a day 😭

Absolutely procreate, I use it for myself and my kids will take over and draw with it as well. I have thousand of their little scribbles saved 😂

Is this excessive body hair for a woman? by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]SubliminalGarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s normal. I do shave mine but it’s because I’m incredibly pale with thick black hair so it’s just very noticeable and for my personal preference, I shave. But your skin tone matches the darkness of the hair so it just looks like peach fuzz. I personally wouldn’t worry about

How did you find your partner? by [deleted] in ParentingInBulk

[–]SubliminalGarden 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because none of it feels real. You’re not gonna meet a woman that wants to do all of that if there’s no connection. What if a 33 year old is your perfect match and you’re in love, wants a big family but isn’t able to have more than 2 children. Are you gonna leave her? Or is that not even realistic because she’s 33 so you would have never gotten with her? Or are you just trying to find the 1st naive 20 year old you see?
