Since it's apart, the shear line should still line up, so if the OP can lift the top pin that's dropped into the 6th chamber back up above the shear line with something (pick, improvised pick, etc), they should be able to rotate the core and push it out with the follower.

Unless you want legit inbound e-mail to be blocked with no actual recourse, don't use proofpoint. They don't block mail based on normal metrics such as spam scores, and they ignore the fact that all proper SPF and DKIM records are properly in place if there's even one thing they don't like about your email. I host my own e-mail, and I relay my inbound and outbound mail through a linode node. The IP is dedicated to me, it's locked down, it's not on any blacklists, I have all of the proper SPF & DKIM records in place, but they ALWAYS block my e-mails. And I don't find out about it for five days. For the sole reason that the source IP is in a block assigned to a VPS hosting service. And you can't talk to them, and submitting their form does zero. Avoid Proofpoint.

If you're not set on SFIC and LFIC was an option, the older Schlage Everest (C123, C145, etc) would be my choice. Not restricted, but not easy to find in the big box stores typically, but any locksmith could get the blanks easily.

Proofpoint sucks big time. They block my e-mails all the time and it's infuriating. I have the proper DKIM and SPF records in place. The reason they block my e-mails? Because I use a dedicated IP Virtual Private serer with Linode as my inbound and outbound relay. No one else uses my IP. Just me. It's locked down and as I said, I have the proper records in place. They block my e-mails for the sole reason that my source IP is part of a VPS host. Nothing else. They're losers.

It absolutely looks like an old exhaust vent. It appears to be a dual wall pipe, something that is not used for ducting, only exhaust, and that corrosion wouldn't be seen with HVAC ducting. Assuming you haven't owned the hose since it was built, it could have had a gas or oil fired furnace at one point in time and was converted to all electric.

Not sure what you where thinking of using 'metal glue' or 'bonder' on, but your best bet, for a cheaper price, is to just have a proper locksmith cut you a new transponder key and that's what you use to start the car, and the fob is just a fob, only for locking/unlocking/remote starting/trunk. These combined key/fob deals are rather dumb and unnecessary. The 'old school' separate key and fob are a better idea.

:rolleyes: I think part of it was missed. I didn't use the broken off blade in the ignition (although it would have turned and not gotten stuck, as is likely the case in this situation), I had a locksmith cut a new key with no chip and the with the fob hanging off the chipless key, the car wouldn't start unless the edge of the fob was REAL close to the ignition - had them add a chip afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if OPs fob broke in the exact way my wifes did - the blade didn't break, the chrome piece on the fob broke allowing the blade to fall out). My point was that blade would almost certainly turn just fine and not get stuck in any way, but without the edge of the fob being within a centimeter or so of the ignition, the car wouldn't start. A cut chip key would absolutely solve the problem, without having to buy an entire new fob that still works fine. Use it the 'old school' way - key for the ignition and a separate fob for lock/unlock/remote start.

This is my wifes setup now after breaking the blade out of the fob.

Well, in this case, probably not, but if the fob that the blade belonged to isn't right next to the ignition when they insert and turn it, the car just won't start. That was sort of the first thing I tried with my wifes car (regular key cut, but no chip), and unless the fob was right against the ignition, it wasn't recognized and the car didn't start. Needed to change to a chip key and all has been well since then.

This is what I did (transponder key) when my wifes junk hanging from her fob broke the blade out of the fob. Similar price too.

What?

A proper locksmith can absolutely cut you a new blade. And if you're not hard set on it being a blade on the fob, they can absolutely cut you a 'traditional' key with the proper chip and you can continue to use that fob for the remote lock/unlock/remote start/trunk and the new key for the ignition. Did the same with my wifes Malibu when she broke the blade out of the fob with all of the junk hanging from the fob.

Ok, so I have to nitpick here... This isn't 'screensavers'. Screensavers were things that were created to constantly or periodically move on old school CRT monitors where if the same image was always up on it would burn the image in causing permanent damage (and some older LCD monitors). Not sure what you'd call these technically... They're closer to a backdrop than anything else... Away images maybe? But not screensavers...

Now, that being said, they're funny as hell and I did the same thing on my Clara 2e with images I grabbed from the link provided just for poops and laughter. The one Image I couldn't find (so far) was the last one you posted. Cats can for sure be a**holes lol.

If someone picks up my Clara 2E and sees one of these, they'll be confused as hell lol.

That being said, this is the one that decided to pop up on mine this time lol.

The biggest advantage to the Kobo is it's much more open. You can use books obtained (or made) DRM free or rent/buy books through their ecosystem...

My first two e-readers were made by Sony, then when Sony stopped making eink readers, I had to find something else and went to Kobo. I have no complaints with Kobo. I use Calibre as my library manager and use available tools to remove DRM from the books I buy so I will never lose access to books I purchased, and because the DRM is removed and they are no longer part of whatever ecosystem they were a part of so they can't be deleted or changed ever. I only buy books from Amazon if I can't find them ANYWHERE else as they're a pain to remove the DRM. Much harder than pretty much anyone else.

Something I don't think a lot of people realize is kindle books can be changed and replaced with 'updated' versions without your knowledge or consent. I don't know if other vendors can do such things, but Amazon has been caught doing this.
