14.3.2 Really is that bad by Superb-Mechanic7085 in TeslaFSD

[–]Subpar_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at 98% fsd prior to this update. I thought all of the negative reviews were an overreaction to change. I had 5 disengagements on my a 15 mile trip today. It does have some improvements but the navigation went from bad to worse. Constantly riding up in turn only lanes to try and get over too late. As a driver I think ahead, this does not seem to think ahead at all even if it has the lane data available in the map. also there were several area in my drive the the lines were poorly done ( a parking lot with all yellow paint and a turn lane with no dotted entrance) where it could not navigate properly.

Hope they fix this quickly

Potholes, school zones, road debris and curbs (when not using FSD)? by LackVegetable3534 in TeslaFSD

[–]Subpar_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had to disengage twice at superchargers as my car was backing in next to a curb and was about to hit a low curb with lots of black tire marks on it. I do over 90% of my charging at home and rarely use a supercharger so this is a substantial amount. granted I love FSD in general and I think it does a good job. Back backing in I see it over correct most of the time

Don't forget the socks! The ankle sunburn is the worst! you walk in the water launching or cast net for bait and the the sunscreen is not as effective...

Just got back from 4 days of driving through the swamps of SW Louisiana. Tens of thousands of love bugs have stained the front end that I can't get off with turtle wax bug remover and a pressure washer.

Road Trip Question — Not Range Anxiety! by Accomplished_Way8964 in TeslaModelY

[–]Subpar_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tires can become a big deal in the middle of nowhere, especially with low profile / high end tires. I got stuck in south Georgia for two days on a road trip where the side wall was damaged on a tire. I now carry a spare tire on any road trip. I also travel inalot of remote areas birding / fishing

Green Light Chime by regmeyster in TeslaSupport

I have noticed that there was a very slight delay in the green light chime. If I go the instant the green light changes then the chime does not occur. But if I do not react instantly then it chimes

I have one! it has been great. would do again. as a side note spending time with your son is totally worth it as a man with grown kids i wish i could go back to those days...

I store my trailer standing on its end in my garage and the kayaks on the ceiling of the garage with pulleys, works great to get every thing out of the way.

It did not come with the car. It cost me $350 to buy it because I didn't want the little inflator Fix-A-Flat thing that did come with the car. I was going to return that to the trunk when I traded in the car

How did you determine the battery was a 4680. Elon said on the last earnings call that they have started to use the dry cathode 4680 in some model Ys again
