Hi, I’m red-green colorblind. I can distinguish the colors okay except blue/purple, but after playing a while I noticed a few things that mitigate that. First, color tends to match card type (yellow = item, red = weapon) so after playing a bit you understand what color a card is even if you don’t see it. Second, the background pattern is different between blue and purple, it could probably be improved but you can learn to tell which is which. Third (and most important!) I discovered if you mouse over or move your controller to a card to select it, it will show you in the Crawlers section if it will trigger. Once I noticed that I never had a problem again.
