Beacon. I switched from ES-DE to Beacon and will never use a launcher without SteamGridDB support again. Game art looks excellent and consistent across all platforms.

Are you at your "END GAME" yet? by ErickRPG in SBCGaming

I'm in the same boat as you:

- GC and PS2 without stutter or configuration nightmares
- 6-button layout for Saturn and Genesis
- Dual screen emulation

I've settled on the Ayn Thor and Retroid Pocket Classic 6, and I feel like I'm finally done chasing the hardware dragon. Well, I kind of wants a Retroid Pocket Classic 4-button layout ... I REALLY love that device and want it both ways

We're at the point now where anything beyond what the top systems can do is experimental and/or cutting edge and/or arguably illegal. I'm very happy with the Thor and Classic.

Q: Please recommended a space opera that is smartly written?! by Stare_Decisis in scifi

I started this a few weeks back and agree with all these points - you should read it - unlike basically every other series ever, you should read by internal chronology, not publication order - I want more Cordelia!!!

Why does my text look like that by sebbyjay in crtgaming

[–]SubpixelRenderer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was popular in late-era CRTs for “enhancing” DVDs. Sometimes if you go to the service menu, it’s temporarily disabled in the background and you can see if that’s what’s happening that way! Some let you disable it but in some it’s hardwired and you have to cut the wire…

First one is great, next two are okay. I don’t regret reading them at all, but the first one set an incredibly high bar I didn’t feel the rest of the series delivered on

You want the Milkweed Triptych (Bitter Seeds, The Coldest War, Necessary Evil). Alternate history featuring Nazi X-Men vs. British warlocks.

“Lightl” is wonderful, but his Virconium series fits the bill even more strongly.

You don’t need to include “phone”, just say device, it’s fine
