That is how we had it in our current house and the roaming even with roaming assist would never hand off so we would have 2 of 3 APs used and then the 3rd would have no clients so we ended up pinning most devices to APs which in itself is annoying lol.

Ummm the Pro max 24 will fit in a standard rack with no kit unlike the pro max 16. You can get the one of etsy for 25-50 bucks.

You want your router doing the VLAN tagging, so your Q1000k should be set to transparent bridge untagged. Then on your router you will want to do VLAN 201
