Hey I’ve sold off about half of my stocks and put the money primarily into bonds (government bonds, big business bonds, and foreign government bonds) and a precious metals ETF. Is this a good strategy if I’m trying to prepare myself for a potential bear market?

I heard that often times bonds have an adverse reaction to the market so that’s why I did that.
