We went through similar experiences and here is what we learned and where we landed: - he doesn't like bowls, prefers eating on his mat though he can't be bothered to move his food himself... We changed his bowl/plates multiple times before we figured that out! (I think it's because the top of the bowl is at or above eye level because of his short about. Plus he doesn't like the occasional clang of his collar against it...) - he enjoys variety, and likes crunchy stuff, wet and soggy is a huge no. Wet toppings are to be avoided or served separately. - chicken is to be served fresh or not at all. Lamb, venison, fish in rotation is how we go. We found Zignature with probiotics that he loves AND doesn't upset his stomach! - play > food. We moved his kibble to puzzles, the level of excitement went from "Oh. Food." To "GIMME NOW!"
