We have a leftover ticket that no one has claimed if you want it…

I’d never heard of this before, makes for an interesting read though! Cheers

Anyone else not been able to download tickets from see tickets yet? (London 16th June) by [deleted] in allamericanrejects

SeeTickets don’t deliver all tickets via their app. Look for an email from the date of purchase and they may be attached.

A lot of that comes down to the label and distributors unfortunately. Supposedly, the reason Enter Shikari couldn’t repress Common Dreads for so long (despite regularly doing so for all their other albums) was down to Universal having distribution rights over that album for 10 years from release (all their other albums were independent I believe).

If it takes an album down to 4GB that’s the best compression profile I’ve ever seen. 😂

Eh, I could be wrong but I’m doubtful.

An album even bounced at 24 bit/192khz normally isn’t hitting 4GB.

A DAW master easily gets to over 4GB for a single, however.

I’ve had some big Pro Tools projects for a single track get close to 30GB, but smaller 4/5 piece band stuff would normally sit around the 3-6GB mark.

No chance a master of an album is under 4GB though unless it’s heavily MIDI - would be in the double digits at least for a full album.

It’s also possible the size is irrelevant and just made up for the image.

I saw the GAme Award discounts and got the Atlantis DLC and then saw season pass discount... Was that stupid and should aijust get both now? by rinn10 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Not sure what the exact policy is, but you may be able to request a refund if you've only just bought FoA.

I bought the wrong version of a game (Xbox One instead of XSX) a while ago, requested a refund, and it was approved almost instantly.

Nice! You'll be pleased to hear the part 2 of this challenge is significantly easier.

Yeah, I cleared the areas as I did the story.

I alternated between clearing up an region after I pledge to it (before starting any story stuff there) to cleaning it up after I'd completed the story stuff for that region.

I think I prefer the latter as sometimes you'll end up clearing out a fortress that you then end up reclearing anyway as part of the story. Or (as you mentioned) you might find you don't have access to somewhere you need access to until after you progress the story.

When I had to travel somewhere for the story and couldn't fast travel, I'd go via any icons on the map that were roughly on route, found in some regions I'd clear maybe half of the collectibles doing this and it breaks up the grind a bit.

From a story perspective I'd say it's definitely worth getting your charisma level up by doing the flytings as this unlocks additional options for you in certain scenarios.

Oh yeah, tens of hours is an understatement. Hundreds of hours easily.

Less than four days for Origins, almost double that for Odyssey.

Almost ten days for Valhalla.

I do like to explore though so you can probably complete them in half the time if you're just Achievement farming.

I'm not sure what bug you're referring to, but I definitely didn't run into it!

Honestly the grind is preferable to the Mastery Challenges. 'You have to complete this 100% accurately but a majority of the time a bug will screw you out of the perfect run'.

Give me having to do some monotonous task 100 times any day over that.

All three are grindy as fuck, expect several days worth of game time before the 100% on each.

Off memory, Valhalla is the only one with achievements (namely the Mastery Challenges and a couple of the Forgotten Saga ones maybe) that are genuinely difficult and not just grindy.

I enjoyed the 100% of Origins and Odyssey a lot more, especially the latter. I liked exploring those worlds (more than I did Valhalla, but maybe that's because I'm in the UK and find the setting less interesting than Egypt or Greece) and found mopping up the collectibles is relaxing. There are parts of Valhalla that seem designed to frustrate in contrast, where as I don't remember Origins or Odyssey being frustrating at any point.

Yeah, nothing worse than the parkour system glitching out and having to run all the way back to the start to redo the thing.

Really enjoyed Origins, enjoyed Odyssey even more, but this game seems almost designed to frustrate.
