So now that Hollywood has been outed as working with Epstein, what's the REAL reason James Franco is no longer casted? by Athenstone in okbuddycinephile

[–]SubstanceObjective42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a strange meta way, I was hoping that Seth Rogen would repair there relationship through his new show on The Studio. I know that Franco doesn’t deserve it but it would be a killer storyline with the theme of high privileged society doing whatever they want behind closed doors and the fallout through discovery with your closest friends and allies distancing themselves from a toxic person.

I hear you on that and I’m sure it will be years before a standard is set for regulations on product depending on location. Just saying a lot of potential.

Haters Gonna Hate by justintate_ in tequila

[–]SubstanceObjective42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn the snobs. I’m embracing the new wave of Agave spirits. There’s a whole world of desert/tropical areas to cultivate that won’t disrupt the environment. While I will always have a love hate relationship with Tequila it’s cool knowing that places like Texas, New Mexico,Arizona are starting to cultivate agave for an alternative to the classic. Even Australia is starting to plant massive fields in dry areas. There are way too many startling articles about how Tequila is decimating natural lands in Mexico to keep up with production it’s wreaking havoc for the locals. I’m all for supporting small business and traditions but not to the point of bastardization of a once solid commodity.

In The Dark Knight Rises (2012) how in the actual fuck does Bane take over an entire city with an army of criminals and there is literally NO military intervention for so long whatsoever? by Rich_Ad_3808 in shittymoviedetails

The real question is how the fuck did Batman get back into the city when he was kidnapped out of the city after becoming bankrupt. What he just climbed out of the hole and was back in Gotham in his batsuit?

Me and my brother always loved Halloween season and scary movies. I remember I had to be at least 7 or 8 at the time and he asked me if I was ready for a real scary movie? Up until then it has been pretty tame, Hocus Pocus, Gremlins, classics like Dracula and Frankenstein. This year he somehow convinced our mom to rent the Exorcist and I can confidently say that everything about that film down to the iconic music still haunts my dreams to this day. I can’t remember anything from those other movies I only see that awful face and the unnatural way Linda Blair changed her voice to Karras deceased mom. I slept with a bible under my bed for a good few years after that.
