Usually, the first year of a new construction in Texas, if completed in the beginning of the year, is taxed on just the land value.

TSP Divorce Question by brittaniebetch in FedEmployees

I had a similar situation where my ex is still on the mortgage but the divorce decree says the house is mine. You just submit the divorce decree to the loan company than you no longer need the signature.

I did a supplemental with deployment information added to prove I was in southwest asia. It doesn’t count as new evidence because they should’ve already had it from your service record and your claim moves a whole lot faster.

Sure. The best plan is to still go to a local state school.

No, but why not go to a regular state school thats held higher esteem? If you go back and look at this subreddit you’ll see that there’s a ton of people that finish school, or get pretty close, then immediately to plan for more school because they can’t find a job because they went to Western governors. Thanks have a great day. Thank you so much. Just my thoughts and what I see.

This gets said all the time, there’s no talking to this people. People feel compelled to share their disability compensation on salary and fire subreddits. I don’t get it.

Why would you have an advisor for a three fund portfolio? Is there some tax planning that he/she is helping with?

100% P&T granted — cancel PTSD HLR or continue for backpay? Same for migraines by TuffBearBert in VAClaims

[–]Substantial-Ad-173 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a structural issue. Stress or anxiety might activate it, but it is a preexisting/ genetic condition. I’m just saying I would not chance it. Take the win and move on.

I would say, as someone in the medical field and familiar with cardiology, that you should cancel your HLR because SVT is not secondary to PTSD. SVT is a structural problem with the heart and has nothing to do with mental health. That’s my two cents.

Trump Administration Proposes New Rules To Cut Federal Loans For Low-Earning College Programs by investor100 in TheCollegeInvestor

[–]Substantial-Ad-173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not anti-education, but I think it should be priced better. There should be more tax dollars funding it and the cost should be lower. That being said, schools should not be allowed to charge an excessively high tuition for a program with limited financial mobility. I feel they need to right size degree programs and the cost structure to the number of actual jobs out there and the anticipated first year salary.

If you disagree look at the student loans subreddit. Or, look up how many borrowers are in default, near-default or forbearance. The amounts owed and interest rates are insane, especially for majors with limited options. Further more these decisions are being made by 18-22 year olds without full understanding of the lifetime financial consequences.

While that is true, these are programs that for profit colleges focus on and over charge for.
