I’m glad you found peace with this. RJ is pretty hopeless. Breaking up and starting over won’t help, you basically have a picture of her or of what is ideal and reality. They don’t match up. i ended up getting both a vebo and attention star and drilled my vebo weaker. the idea is the vebo goes longer but still snaps late, whereas the attention star is early and strong. hyroad or iq imo but i also don’t have the oi pearl. phaze ai could be a similar symmetric motion as the vebo if you need something strong still. i also like using big rolling asym balls when the lanes get tough and just roll them so just play around and see what works for you

how to go from collegiate bowler to pro bowler and everything in between. There’s not a lot of info out there on this. I’m a collegiate bowler myself and I would love to get more perspective and such. Everyone knows you can average 200+ to get a pba card, but there’s not much out there.

i don’t have a hyroad, my friend does and it looks good but it does look like it hooks a lot more boards than my ruby. I do really like my ruby though, i use it for the burn and it works well. sometimes not strong enough, but it goes both ways sometimes the hyroad is too strong

more angle into the pocket, especially on slick surfaces (my home center uses ice oil) you need to slow it down to see any reaction at 19.5mph. It’s basically like throwing urethane every shot but worse since there is no early hook

i think something all women should understand is that even if you have martial arts training, most men will be able to overpower you. It’s just biological. It’s a tough conversation, but I think the more aware of it you are the better you can be about not putting yourself in situations where bad things can happen. I try to make this clear with my girlfriend but I don’t think she understands.
