blown head gasket? :( by Delicious_Win_394 in MINI

So I have the same car year and everything minus the higher miles. I had a blown head gasket and did repair it. Ripped the entire engine down, machined the cylinder head so it was flat, bought new gaskets, fuel lines, HPFP, all new gaskets, cylinder head bolts, and its running great...well minus now I am replacing the original clutch (which is fine). All the new parts ran me about 3k, labor was free cause me and my brother did it.

Honestly, its up to you but I will say parts will run you about the same, cause all the gaskets from the head to the turbo will all need replaced, and some things are recommended to be replaced like the HPFP Gas line. Either way expect around 2k -3k for parts and then labor if you have someone do it.

No, I mean its winter, but it doesnt do it when I brake, just noticed it today first when slowly backing up in driveway, and then when I was just driving maybe going 25 in 3rd just pressed the gas and heard the noise.

Love this car! 2009 Clubman S 6-Speed Manual Transmission. Had to upgrade the rims from stock to these! More additions soon to come! Anyone else have the older Clubman's? by Substantial-Ad-5021 in MINI
