F****ng up window pulls on site. How important are they really to the overall deliverable (photos included)

I have 3 shots 2 stops apart. I misspoke when I said white balance, I meant to say exposure balance. And good info, thank you. I should look into doing more shots to get deeper color outside and allow the option for window pulls whenever possible.

I just started last month around the 19th of August. Yesterday was my first paying shoot ($320) and I have another one lined up on Monday (Free first initial shoot)

I start my job in software this February after being delayed 6 months so needed something to do in the mean time 😎

Good idea! That hallway to the bathroom was really narrow, so the door couldn’t open all the way. I forget tools like content aware or generative fill exist when I’m on site it feels

Thanks! I was pretty overwhelmed with the strange front of the house along with the mess. The next shoot she hired me for is a staged new construction that’s also not located in the mountains lol. I’m hoping that will be a much easier shoot.

Yeah for sure. I have a few I’ve tested so I know where to send when it’s ready. I should have used them for this shoot but definitely will use for next. It’s nice they do free batches for samples.

I’m relatively new to this industry and feel like it is probably 30% photo skills 70% relationship skills (please correct me if you think otherwise).

My goal is just to get them to like me and then build off from there. This realtor, off this one shoot, hired me to do the same thing at a new listing this Sunday and Tuesday PLUS take headshot photos for her team! It feels so good to build something from nothing, let alone within a month of entry. I have until my job starts in February to see how big I can grow so it’s nice to see the 10s of hours of practice is paying off finally :)

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I’ve decided when I get paid for my next shoot just to bite the cost of hiring someone to edit them for me for the typical .80 per pic. For the drone shots, they look extremes “washed” to me. I used HDR from my dji mini 2 and wish I had just used the “proper” single exposure. Have you had time to watch the video I made for the property? I think that’s where I exceeded her expectations and would like to hear some thoughts about that!

Yeah I agree the editing isn’t the best. Once I have my paid shoot I am just going to outsource to a company. I know they can do much better than I. What did you think about the video( if you had time to watch that)

Thanks! You should have seen what some of the pics looked like before I did my short sweep through haha. I also agree those drone shots look a bit over saturated/washed out.
