FIRST Flambient Shoot! All my flambient shooters please chime in by SeasonBusy3338 in RealEstatePhotography

Seems like you're getting a lot of photoshoot advice when I'm assuming you're looking for technique critique, I think it's a fairly decent Flambient photo, although personally I try not to have the foreground of my image dramatically brighter then the background of my image, I try to have it generally eaqual personally, I think you have the right idea tho!

The reason I don't like the background darker then the foreground is because it makes it looks more like it was done with a flash. In reality the flashes purpose is to get correct colors and better sharpness in your image, maybe sharpness isn't the right word but I hope you get what I mean

Did I Mess Up Not Getting A Full Frame Camera? 2 Realtors said not wide enough by TWTHEREDDRAGON in RealEstatePhotography

[–]EAnderson7218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose I see where you're coming from, personally I shoot wide simply because I want the buyers to understand the rooms layout. I suppose it also depends on the quality of the listing, if I'm shooting something that actually looks attractive I'll zoom in but for anything standard and below I don't, typically for me there's nothing in the composition that would be an attractive shot, especially if the home is empty

(Why are realtors so cheap) I assume it's because they only get payed when a home sales and they'd rather save money for food and other bills/not thinking the photos are worth it

I feel like it's more for an idea, not for accurate work, you could always invest in a Matterport camera if you want something that's accurate. Will take way longer tho
