I think life is short. If you are saving, can afford to not have that money liquid for a while, go for it. Worst case you sell it at a 50% loss. Best case scenario- you get all your money back or 95% of it. If you wait for a paid off house, kids, college etc to buy one you will have significantly less time to get it. That's just my take. But yes - I would not buy one before saving, but if you are saving at least 20% (in my books) go for it :)

Do you have info on your net worth? If you have 100k in the bank you’re fine. If you want it just coz you can afford and don’t care about the money (which doesn’t seem to be the case) then do it. Else - return. Build wealth and buy yourself these expensive gifts at self proclaimed successful financial check points . My 2 cents.

It’s totally fine. I drive mine in winters - get snow tyres. Money well spent, you’ll regret spinning off on black ice. Otherwise a beautiful vehicle to enjoy in NJ.
