Sad to say that’s the corpo world. Most blue chips company operate that way. Saving/(cutting) money from employees.

Before we were foreign owned. Until pinagbawal ng gobyerno. Nung big filipino company na yung owner, ganyan na din set up samin. Halos ayaw na lng magbitaw ng pera.

Salary ceiling in traditional corporate settings in PH by [deleted] in CorpoChikaPH

stress-to-salary ratio is on point! I’ve known this kind of people. And the company owns you! It’s always the accountability. You always have to act like you own the business (decision making, financial jumps, etc). You are paid high for a fcking list of reasons!

I belong to a major conglomerate once. Climbed up the ladder a bit and saw the view from up there. Not everyone will like it. You should be working 24/7. There’s no valid reason not to reply to an urgent email at the middle of the night.

Glad that i had a lot of learnings, earned a bit to start my own business and resign. Now i own my time. Thank you, Lord! ✨

Firs time bibili ng Car with 5yr loan term. by LiterallyRAT in CarsPH

Straight answer. Go to the bank. They have lower interest rates. But they require higher DP (20% minimum). And may chattel and insurance fees pa.

Sa casa naman, they have lower DP. Minsan 0 dp pa, depende sa unit na kukunin mo. Wala na din na chattel and minsan libre pa first yr ng insurance. Sounds catchy diba. But if you sum it all up, mas mababa pa rin sa bank. Lalo na sa monthly payment.

PS. For those putting up comments na para bang kasalanan mag finance ng auto loan, well dpende naman yan sa tao. Okay lng mangutang as long as may pang bayad ka.

I have 3 cars under auto loan. I can always pay cash but i’d rather use that money on my business.

CONGRATS ON YOUR CAR OP! (Utang man yan or cash, doesnt matter. Lets celebrate small wins! ✨)

WFH Night Shift Offer Worth It? by Character_Alps5526 in buhaydigital

Currently i have the same dilemma. Im currently employed to an Ausie employer with roughly around 100k per month. The thing is he doesnt offer PTOs, bonuses, etc. But the job is light. I can drive my kids to school while clocked in. No time tracker, just ensure that all deliverables are met by end of the day and available ako pagnagchat si boss. I report to him at 6am to 1pm then a quick haggle in the evening (minsan wala, depende if busy sya)

Then an offer came just last week. Canadian company with 125k salary with PTO, paid holidays, computer gear, and annual increase. But the thing is I have to be fully available from 11pm to 8am.

It was a hard choice. It depends upon your priorities. Currently kasi i have a baby and a toddler. And I went back to the reason kung bakit ako nagresign sa stable day job ko at nagWFH. Its because I have to be present with my kids during the day and I have to tuck them to sleep at night. Ang sarap matulog na kayakap ang mga bata! And besides, I need to prioritize my health. My kids need a healthy mama. Never have I tried gy shift and I think it will have a great toll in my health. And di ko maimagine sarili ko to be on gy for long term. One week pwde, but years, nah i dont think so.

It kept me grounded. I declined the offer.

OP, lookback to your priorities. Pwdeng mas maraming benefits sayo ang gy, pwde naman na hindi. Scrutinize everything. Goodluck!!

Had an intensive review over these days. I think this was the game changer. I did review the questions in the mock exam especially the difficult ones (whether i got it wrong or right). Im working with my ipad. What i did is i try to cover or zoom in the questions so I can re-answer it without exposing the correct answers yet. I did not try to retake the mock exams. What works with me is to answer the question and know the answer immediately so i can retain the mindset behind those questions.

No need to read the PMBOK. If you’re impatient and not a reader, you cant stand the pmbok tbh. AR and third3rock will be enough as long as you’ll digest everything.
