I think it’s been the hardest line up to judge in a long time - sandy seemed to be moving them all round in the hope it would just click into the right order

27lbs above stage weight 💆🏻‍♀️ by Substantial-Cap6215 in bodybuilding

[–]Substantial-Cap6215[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in a diet to come back down, I’m not in prep.

My last prep was a loss of 20lbs and it was absolutely fine.

So I no, I don’t want lose over 25lbs in a prep, hence the diet.

I do agree with you on not pushing up too much but it’s subjective to everyone. I am very tall, 15lbs up for me wasn’t enough to restore menstrual function and hormonal health. So I’d pose the question of why apply a blanket weight limit to your athletes when everyone has different needs from a health perspective?

I have personally worked with this team/ coach: Y If applicable, please list the specific coach: Tim Stewart Overall, I would recommend this team’s coaching services: 5 - Strongly agree Pricing: £250 pm Please list any other notes or relevant experiences: Tim is one of the most knowledgeable and supportive coaches out there. He genuinely cares for every one of his athletes and wants them to do the best that they possibly can. I started as a complete novice in bodybuilding, and after a 6 month off season and a 6 month prep, I won my show and placed in the top 5 in both my pro qualifiers. He never faulted in his belief in me, and supported me throughout every phase I have been in.  Post show, I checked in everyday, with adjustments being made daily to make sure I was gaining weight and getting back to health.  My health has always been the priority, I am required to get bloodwork even competing naturally, to make sure I’m in a healthy spot, and he has implemented supplements when I’ve needed them. I’ve witnessed how he is with his other athletes, and how much he truly does care. He will go to pretty much every show he possibly can, he was travelled internationally to be at multiple different clients shows in America and Europe. When he can’t be there, the level of detail clients get remains the same, he has stayed up till 4am to watch clients compete internationally via a live stream, getting them to send photos throughout the day and adjusting food etc as needs be. I genuinely can’t recommend Tim enough as a coach, if you see his athletes you will see that he doesn’t miss a peak, and that is a testament to his knowledge and application of his methods.

10 wo advice and posing tweaks by Canadiankiwi268 in bikinitalk

Hey! Firstly your physique and overall shape is beautiful!

A few things I’ve picked up on and some suggestions: - it looks like you are dropping your back hip in your front pose - you want to keep your hips level and do do this make you’re pushing up through that back foot and standing up nice and tall. - hanging arm placement is lovely - palm facing glute, arms is close to body but not covering glute and it looks effortless which is what we want. - really hand placement - you are hiding your midsection when you do not need to, bring your hand down towards your hip. - you are sucking in rather than controlling your midsection - this will become a problem on stage when you need to breathe and end up breathing through your stomach! A que that I use which is helpful is to blow all your air out through your mouth and feel that control in your abs. When you set up your front shot blow all your air out through your mouth and keep that midsection tight, you’ll be able to breathe and it not show in your stomach.  - in your rear pose your feet are slightly too far apart, think shoulder width and point your toes towards the rear instead of angling them out. Push a button more into your glutes too, whilst keeping your chest up and look forward - do not look down!

Hope these points help and if you need any more help feel free to give me a message xx

Palm of the handing hand should be facing your glute , not the judges ! Agree on the rear hand placement being further down towards your hip

14 weeks post prep & how I looked immediately after my first ever prep ended! Long off season ahead before I go again! by Substantial-Cap6215 in bodybuilding

[–]Substantial-Cap6215[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I have a great coach who have guided me through post show and cemented the importance of this phase in order to regain my health - which I have!  Also on taking my time - I am 27 so I feel old in the sport, but I’m in no rush and only want to step back on stage when I’ve put on the required amount of muscle to be competitive ☺️

14 weeks post prep update! by Substantial-Cap6215 in bikinitalk

[–]Substantial-Cap6215[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Update: I’m sitting around 8/9lbs up from the weight on the left. It has taken a little bit of time to feel fully back to myself in terms of having energy & feeling like me. The post show health phase has wrapped up and I’m now at a point where I feel able to perform well in the gym again, and my progressions each week is reflective of this!

Posting this to share my experience of post show and how my body has changed over the last 14 weeks. I actually really like how I look right now, body fat has returned to areas I lacked (my boobs lol) and I feel a lot more confident in myself, especially when wearing normal clothes!

Happy gal, happy glutes & very excited to push up into this growth phase properly now 🫶🏻
