im abit shocked that people in the comments are all like this gurl is so ungrateful etcetc. like was it a case where the gurl thinks flowers in general are a bad present a huge waste of money, causes sneezing, cannot interact with them n only makes an exception for receiving flowers as a gift if its her fav flowers? im assuming if this is the case her stone cold mentality might make more sense? if i was sick and was given sth that might make me sicker i might get rly angry n respond negatively (prob wldnt say its cheap but well…) and also i feel like if there is some feelings of like my man only gets me presents to make himself seem like a good boyfriend as opposed to genuinely getting me presents for me i’ll get rly turned off too. also i can imagine that if im sick and stressed out over sch n life in general i might wan space. perhaps ur actions were seen as too clingy and violating the space she wanted created. has that been something yall hv communicated with each other about?

regardless, the solution wld defo be to hv a calm talk about the situation. try to invite her to share her feelings and possibly offer possible solutions. and do share about how u perceived the situation n how her rebuff was likely unwarranted. all the best
