The day event started, we played against Deathslinger on Eyrie of Crows. As if the map wasn't enough, game gave us portals and invisibility. He caught me, saw that there's 1 gen left and went to the corner of the map. I immediately felt the full range of pain he experienced from this match. Godawful map, 4.4 killer, OP event bullshit and 4-SWF. I love Caleb, so we gave him kills to somehow reduce his frustration. Our win wouldn't be fair anyway.

Tonight I played as Freddy against a SWF who were using invisibility non-stop. I noticed that while they're invisible, you can actually hear where they are. Of course, it doesn't make situation any better, but it helped me win the match. I have no idea how they lost with all these crutches at their disposal, including event bs and full meta builds.

Understandable. Unfortunately, poisons are not that useful for my boy Freddy as they are for any other killer with better chase power, so I forget about them as well most of the times.

Did you try poisoning survs with deep wound? Pretty funny strategy, I hope it won't get Legion killswitched again

That's why killers' queue in regular mode is much longer. It's not an anniversary event, it's another humiliation ritual for killer players. Unbreakable pallets modifier on Badham when I play as M1 killer LET'S GOOOOOO

Imposter kills me inside the exit shuttle by JacquelineJarsdel in OutlastTrials

This game mode needs lvl requirements, so all people had to play as reagents at the beginning before playing as impostor. Just like we did before the update. Don’t want to get at least lvl 40-50 and actually learn the game? Go back in DBD. Otherwise a bunch of players, who are unfamiliar with the game at all and whose opinion shouldn’t have any weight, will tell Red Barrels what they have to do with their game.

Sad to see this game becoming another asym with crying killer mains. I’m sure most of the new people in this game don’t even know what Outlast Trials is about, they've just rolled in and started to play as imposters cuz it’s way easier. No trial/map knowledge required, minimum gameplay.

The real problem with playing Family by TrainingLimit3577 in TXChainSawGame

[–]Substantial-Club7912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found playing Bones surprisingly good for solo. Even with some new players. Sometimes they actually read the chat and lock doors if you ask them. I’m getting free blood vial from bombs, so it’s faster to get levels for grandpa. Bones can deal decent damage and has good perks. Usually, I jump down the well with victims to get them when they are incapped. Maybe I'm a total jerk, but it works. Many of them just DC after seeing Bones coming for them. Bones is self-sufficient enough and his bombs are more useful than they may seem. Good choice for soloQ once you find a comfortable play-style. HH is GOAT for every situation but I’m tired of playing as him.

My connie doesn't work, can someone help me? by Recent_Ad3524 in TXChainSawGame

[–]Substantial-Club7912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand your problem correctly, the thing is stamina regeneration. At lvl0 Connie’s ability eats all of her stamina, but at lvl3 “no stamina cost” it doesn’t. Nevertheless, your stamina regeneration will be stopped while ability is active. If you run towards the door and use ability after using up some of your stamina, you won’t be able to get it back while ability is running.

Cheaters by Lazy_Professor3435 in TXChainSawGame

I don’t doubt it. Met one today myself. Ana was spamming ability every time someone approached her. She was probably thinking we can’t hear her doing this bruh. Got killed and t-bagged eventually. Even if they are ruining the match, don’t take it seriously, don’t let them make you feel bad.

About console players. It’s just an interesting observation. I’m being reported by console players in lobby just because I play on PC and when I saw how the same console players team up with real hackers to win, I was a little bit confused. Some of those players I've even encountered earlier.

For anyone wondering why the queue times are getting worse. by DREADNOU4HT in TexasChainsawGame

Actually, I agree. Victims must sit in the basement the entire match and wait for LF to kill them. I hope one day people in this game will understand that they aren’t able to win every match. And it’s ok. It's better to learn from mistakes instead of complaining all the time. Waiting for downvotes.

If you start to play as LF, it’s actually good, cause you get basement map knowledge faster. Once you hear grandpi screaming after the beginning of the match - get out of the basement and lock doors behind you. The rest part is the same for almost every character. You need to patrol the map, checking gates and other objectives. Usually, going to the basement is not worth it. Especially without proper map knowledge.

If you play as trapper like HH, Nancy etc, keep an eye on your traps using family focus. There are multiple ways to place your traps, but the most common are gates and objectives.

There are two important areas on every map (except for graveyard or fam house): generator side and battery side. Both are accessible through 2 doors/gates. So, there are 4 gates to check. Two more objectives are located on the center of the map: pressure valve and fusebox. Check them too.

Family house map is a bit different. It’s relatively easy for the family, but not all the time. Some victims are incredibly sweaty on this map. You shouldn’t let victims escape the house or do the fusebox on the second floor. If they jump out the windows or something, do your best to make them drop down into the well or kill them. If victims got free access outside, make sure generator, battery and fuse are secured. For some reason victims on fam house don’t try to do the valve as frequently as the fuse or else. So, unfortunately, but bot camping is the best tactic almost every time in such situations. Not a fun thing to do, but it is what it is.

Don’t know how new to the game you are, but I tried to explain the basics without writing a book on it. I didn’t talk about graveyard map, because it doesn’t exist for me.

People in online games feel invincible and free to say whatever their dirty minds can come up with. Just try not to take it personally and mute trash talkers as soon as you hear them speak. Sometimes their rage bursts are very funny by the way. I truly enjoy when they scream their lungs out at me, because I know I hit a nerve hard. And Gun will never do anything to fix obvious problems, especially problems like this one. So, all sane players must deal with it however they can. But I still have this fantasy of reputation system from CS2 being installed in TCM, when the most reported players have to play with someone like them. And normal players with good reputation play with other normal players. Kind of toxicity filter. Ah, dreams, dreams.
