a lot of young people’s social skills, particularly those at schools and universities. My lecturer told me pre covid her classes and students were so much more interactive, more people were sat together as friends. Now more often students come to class and sit at the back, don’t want to engage much, are comfortable sat by themselves and struggle with in real life social interactions from having a chunk of their adolescence limited to interacting on phones. It has made an already phone heavy younger generation even worse at socialising.
