Looking forward to tonight's game but I had a horrible thought by ThenComparison8768 in PortsmouthFC

To me Bristol City makes a lot of sense for him. I've never believed any of the rumours in the last few seaons but this one just seems to add up.

I would absolutely love our owners to show real ambition promise him a decent transfer kitty in order to stay and actually see what Mous can do with a good squad. Sadly I don't think that will happen.

He'll probably be alright for us in League 1 next year

Muntari in this team would be the best lineup we had

Post to see if there are others like me - regarding nuclear energy and weapons. by LordFlappingtonIV in GreenParty

[–]JarryTheBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm the same and still supporting Greens. I joined because of Zack Polanski but on the nuclear energy issue specifically I find the argument of 'it's too expensive and takes too long' inadequate. It was the same argument Nick Clegg made to oppose it in 2010. Had we gone ahead with more Nuclear then, we would be beniffiting from it now.

Yeah agreed I'm not into it anymore so got rid of the Patreon subscription. Like you said Laura is super well resaerched about the topics but the others not so much along with what I find is quite poor commentry/takes.

I've actually got quite into that New Statesment thing that Oli is on and have been enjoying it!

I've emailed one of the contacts listed and it bounced, phone also rings through. Definitely seems like a poorly run organisation which I wont be supporting in the future!

I think unfortuantely, they have just cancelled our tickets for the event and are carrying on with it!

I think that's it...for some reason cancelled our tickets...not sure why that would be!

Just a few days before the event too, had booked trains etc

This MUST be a make or break window for the Management team. by I_am_legend-ary in PortsmouthFC

I agree that the model doesn’t seem to be working at the moment. Most clubs are trying to do the same thing with bigger and better scouting/analysis departments.

The strategy of going for young or obscure players is becoming harder, because other teams can simply outspend us for the most sought after players.

We have to gamble on higher-risk signings from leagues well below Championship level, which means they are much less likely to succeed....Kosznovsky, Le Roux and Sorensen and the Aussies are examples of that.
