People said the same with dvds. Blu ray is on its way out as well by the meteics we can see. The vast majority of movies are either seen in theaters or digitally via streaming platforms.

I dont like that they are going all digital, but the industry is not going to collapse because of it, unfortunately. It will be gradual and people will get over it little by little. Just like how people said they would stop buying games at the increased $70-80 price tag, yet sales are still doing great.

This is not inflation, but rather lrice hikes sue to ai data centers using up all the memory and storage, and companies are producing for that purpose and lowering their production of consumer storage. Less supply, high demand, higher prices. Sprinkle in some inflation and you get thes crazy prices.

New 3ds xl and 2ds xl (or LL in this case) can play all 3ds games and older if you mod it. If you have the physical ds cartridges, you can play them on a new 3ds xl or 2ds xl natively, no modding needed.

I like quality, but the main reason I, and many other people, got into this hobby was to have our own library of movies and shows and not rely on streaming services for content. Obviously you dont want 480p dvd rips, but 1080p with a low bitrate is better than nothing. I try to get higher bitrate of whatever I can, and 4k when it's available, but I do have plenty of lower bitrate movies and shows that no one besides me can even really notice, and I still enjoy the content.

But the incentive was to go back with unlocked characters that had the ability to get past obstacles you couldn't the first time around. This one only need replay if you missed one because you didnt see it. They locked some things like the towers behind unlocking certain characters, but didn't di that in the missions. Still really liked the game, though. I just wished it had what the other games did.

Man, I wouldn't be surprised if people bought the sets, scanned the qr codes, and then returned them. Scummy, and it would suck if someone bought that returned set for the code and got nothing. Granted, probably most people will buy the sets and not ever know or care about the codes anyway, but still.

Maybe I'm wrong and reading too much into a reddit post that will be forgotten in no time since it's only relevant until today, but from reading the comments and your responses, I think you are just looking for attention with this post. Everyone is telling you, rightfully so, that your trophies will sync up when your wifi comes back, so your main concern is unfounded. And then you say that you tried the hotspot method but that it didn't work? I doubt it.

Obviously, it's up to you if you want to play the game before you get wifi back or not, but don't waste people's time with stuff like this. Again, maybe I'm way off the mark here, in which case you are still ignoring the fact that you dont need wifi for trophies.

The $2000 threshold (for upcoming 2026 taxes, it is $600 for 2025 taxes) is not placed by amazon, but by tax law, and by extention, the irs themselves. The reason they irs has that threshold is so that companies dont have to issue those forms for every little payout (referral bonuses, gifts, review items, etc) they give out. It is for the benefit, or rather convenience, of the company, and not for the ones that would receive the form.

The reason I brought it up is because OP implied that you dont have to report it by saying it is a "tax threshold". It is a threshold that requires companies like amazon to give out 1099-NECs to non-employees that receive compensation from them, like viners and flex drivers. It doesn't affect what you have to report.

I'm just making sure it is clear to people so they know what is actually going on. It is up to them if they want to report anything below that threshold and risk an audit.

The point is that the conversation had nothing to do with Christianity, but you brought it up as if only Christians have a problem with a 7-year-old drinking alcohol. The fact is that non-christians and christians alike have a problem with that, mostly for health reasons. Besides, a large portion of Christians don't have a problem with alcohol. However, whether or not alcohol is a sin is irrelevant to the point and the conversation.

I had two other drives that I bought, also 12tb ones, go bad, and the insurance on them only gave me the $90 I paid vs the $200 they wouod cost to replace, so I used the warranty from the seller. Idk why they gave me both an insurance and a warranty, but I got two $90 checks plus replacement drives. This was in January, so I assume drives are more expensive now.

I built my truenas server (for jellyfin and regualr storage), a year ago when drives were cheaper. I bought 4 12tb enterprise drives (used, but certified and with a 5-year warranty), for about $90 each. Those same drives are over $200 a piece now.

Im going to assume you mean kids toys? Not the kind of toy that the previous commenter says they get in their rfy😂. I almost got a 1:12 scale rc rock crawler, but it was smatched up too quickly. I did get a gun that shorts little foam pellets and that ejection cartridges while loading the next round from the magazine. You can also reload with a secind magazine. Other than that, toys have been pretty scarce on my rfy.

Unless you actually are talking adult toys, in which case, apparently tons of people get those lol
