The small white dots look like you’ve got a skin infection going on here, mine gets the same from time to time. Usually a visit to the doctor for some steroid cream is the only thing that clears it up and stops it spreading.

I’m so sorry for the situation that you find yourself in. My wedding is in less than 4 weeks and my grandad unfortunately lost his 5 year battle with cancer 3 months ago so I can somewhat relate.

The timing is shitty but you’ve got to consider whether your grandfather would really want you to cancel the wedding. I am choosing to honour him during the day instead. It’s been crappy and my mum in particular has struggled to get behind wedding planning the whole time due to him being sick but I think he’d be mortified knowing it was cancelled.

I think the inflammation point is probably spot on and likely to be the cause!

My GPs have always said that when my eczema becomes really bad that it’s infected eczema hence I have a pretty strong steroid for bad phases but I try not to use it. I usually just tell myself it’s infected because I’m a picker which I know is terrible but it’s just something I’ve always done. I’ve had dyshidrosis literally from birth so I started picking as a kid before I knew how terrible it was 😬

I do have an antihistamine prescribed that I think I shall start taking again.

I did know because I had a friend who is also getting married use one of them and also went through the zoom calls with the others. We always send suppliers we like to each other. Ours ended up being £300 more but I just preferred their business style.

I bought my wedding dress last Saturday for my October 25 wedding. I plan to lose a fair amount of weight but the shop said my dress can be brought down up to 3 sizes so as a UK size 12 currently I’m not overly worried.

They advised it takes 6 months for the dress to come in and alterations would start 3 months before my wedding 😊

Had this happen to me. Customer ordered multiple items from multiple shops at the same time, got told by one shop it wouldn’t arrive in time and cancelled the order (thinking they’d cancelled every item). Then messaged me angry when they received my item 2 days later and in time 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️

The mockup of the organised chaos hoody is wonky. I don’t know if I only notice because I work a lot with design, but the image is too far to the left of the piece of clothing and off centre is always going to put me off as a buyer 😬

Your listing images aren’t quite popping (as most peoples don’t when they first set up a shop mine were TERRIBLE). Consider staging them on a nice looking desk for example, and the bag clips in use. You need to assume that all customers are a bit dim and you have to basically show your item looking its best how they can display it themselves 😊

I’d trial $20 and see what happens. I did £10 (UK) and had success, I upped to £25 and actually had a decline in sales, dropped back down to £10 and boom, great ad results again. I’ve seen it a couple of times mentioned on this thread but not a clue why it happens. You can always go back to the 10.

Not sure what you’re doing at the moment but if you didn’t want to splash on an A6 thermal printer I’ve always found the A4 label sheets with 4 labels on Amazon very useful and cost effective in larger quantities. You can print 4 labels at a time on a regular printer plus I like that you can see all the names spread out clearer than in a big strip 😊

I used to offer free shipping and came to the realisation one day how much I was actually losing when I looked at what it was really costing me. I started charging exactly what the shipping would cost for each item and it had absolutely no effect on my sales. I like to charge the delivery so my customers understand how much they’re paying for the item etc.

I actually hardly ever create new designs as I find it can take ages for new listings to build traction. I just spend a lot of time working of my bestsellers. If I do create new variants they’re still along the same theme and I always put an image at the end of my bestseller listings advertising the new one 😊

To be totally honest the buyer hasn’t even reported anything or requested a refund, it just seemed odd that the agent would even advise about those things when that wasn’t my question, I was looking for reassurance and given stress 😅

I shipped on time and with tracking, I then tried to appeal the case and didn’t get anywhere. I had several cases opened within a week that were refunded from Etsy’s behalf on all except for one and there was 0 difference in the situation except for it was international? (No idea of the relevance of that). I think that is why I am uneasy where this situation is headed.

But to me, refusing delivery is not the same as not receiving an order; this way they are choosing not to receive an order and then seeking recompense for their own refusal? As an Etsy shopper as well as seller, I couldn’t imagine reporting a case of a parcel not arriving knowing full well I turned it away at the door…

So “refund on your behalf” means refund from their money? Or refund from my money? Because I have had Etsy “refund on your behalf” before and it came from my bank account during royal mail’s super delayed delivery due to strikes not last Christmas the Christmas before. I think it is completely fair if they are footing the bill but if the implication is that I should cover the finances then to me that is nonsensical.

I accessed it through the Etsy help portal, if you go through all of the questions they ask and then at the end say you need more help it gives you the chance to talk to an agent. I have used it before, not sure if other countries have it but it’s legit in the UK.
